Small & Ruthless

Chapter 3

The three ship girls had a stressing stand off. In the middle was the head maid of the Royal Navy, Dreadnought. A heavy Dreadnought class Battleship with her sword pointed Vyerni while her cannons pointed themselves at Jamie, also know as the Nathan James. Around six months ago all of Azur Lane were missing a few shipgirls and later on they found but they were completely different, their eyes were a bright glowing gold, while black steam emenated from them. What made it worse is that the affected went into a violent rampage that destroy and kill anything in their path. The shipgirls of Azur Lane called them: The Corrupted. Why they're called that is because the infected never attacked any Sirens around them, they even took orders from them. Whenever a shipgirl is found being corrupted they have to be exposed of immediately, with deadly force. The Corrupted are dangerous and can never return into their normal state, even if someone important to them tried to talk them out of the Rage filled madness it would end of with one of the girls sinking into the dark abyss known as the ocean. The Corrupted have double and even tripled stats and power of whoever the Sirens affected, for example a small destroyer can have the power of a devastating high class and powerful Battleship. And a Battleship, let's just say one blast can probably level a really small island. So far mostly Destroyers and a few Cruisers were only corrupted, so far.
Now Back to the story.

As Jamie continued to growl at Vyerni and completely ignoring Dreadnought, Vyerni was doing the same. All the girls prayed for Jamie, mainly hopeing that she'd be able to get out of her corrupted rage, they seen she was in somewhat in control of herself. But so far they can tell Jamie loathes Vyerni with an extreme passion so she won't be getting out of her rage until she destroys and sinks Vyerni right there and now. Dreadnought still kept her composure but she had the uneasy feeling that this wasn't her fight, and not to mention she's feeling ignored by the two new corrupted shipgirls, but when she looks back at Jamie she's uncertain about her.

Dreadnought: "Why did Belfast say she was in control of herself?"

As Dreadnought quickly looked back at Jamie she finally seen what Belfast meant. Her where indeed gold colored but she had flecks of blue in her eyes.

Jamie: "Get.. Away.... Dread ..nought. this is... My grudge to settle."

Dreadnought widened her eyes in shock, the Corrupted never speak all they do is growl and roar like animals. Much to Dreadnought's dismay she sheathes her sword and gracefully jumps to the other girls just watching the spectical that's in front of them. Now that the head maid is out of harm's way both Jamie and Vyerni stared at each other with pure and unbridled fury and rage.

Vyerni charges at Jamie first but she blocks a punch by crossing her arms, the force of that single punch and block created a massive amount of wind that almost sent all the girls on their butts. Jamie lowered her arms and stared Vyerni right in her corrupted golden eyes with rage, Jamie retaliated by quickly grabbing her arm throws Vyerni over her shoulder and smashing her against the water splash everywhere. Vyerni was about to get up but Jamie quickly straddles her chest double fist slams Vyerni in the face making her deeply screech in pain. But Vyerni comes back grips Jamie's shoulders and she headbutts her, now Jamie is the one on her back and Vyerni quickly jumps to her grabs her by the throat and repeatedly slams her into the water ten times and threw Jamie at a random direction like she's throwing away trash. But to Vyerni's surprise Jamie regains her balance and she water skates around Vyerni and fires her main armament sitting on her right shoulder. When the shell landed it caused quite the explosion but when the smoke cleared Vyerni was burned but still alive. Jamie decides to end this fight fast her box that's attached to her back is her missle bay for her rockets, before Jamie locked on Vyerni is instantly infront of her and grabs Jamie by the face quickly throws her into air then Vyerni follows with a jump. As the two meet midair they punched and kicked each other while falling back to the ground. As the two continued to fall Vyerni gained the upper hand by punching Jamie in the head so hard she's stunned then Vyerni puts her right foot on Jamie's jaw and waited for the fall. But as Jamie got out her stuper she was almost to the ground and she quickly fired her missle's she loaded in her box. As the missle's fired they went outward but instantly came back and hit Vyerni all over her body making her scream in pain. But as the ground draws closer they two simultaneously hit the watery floor. All the girls watching were worried about Jamie in this fight, even in a normal circumstance a Destroyer can't take a Heavy Cruiser all by herself. As Jamie came too all she seen was the bright blue sky with steam everywhere from the fight, but she see's a figure in her vision and she saw Vyerni standing above her with a rage filled expression and she violently grabs Jamie by the neck and she starts to choke her. As Jamie's vision starts to fade from being choked she starts to remember her captain and the rest of her brave and heroic crew that saved her world.
