Chapter 2: Maxwell Gray Moretti

They said sun light is good for the health. But heck. I don't need it right now. Jeez. It's just 10 o'clock in the morning.
I still wanna sleep.

Because of sun light that is burning my skin I get off the bed lazily. BLAG! Putcha nahulog pa ako. I walk towards the kitchen while massaging my butt. 

As usual I prepared my food. I've been living  here in the Philippines alone for the past 3 years.  I'm renting a small apartment. Yes, apartment. I can't stay in condo 'cause I change residence from time to time. Depende sa mission ko.

I'm working in a secret organization named Alaseirene- combination of Alastair meaning defender and Eirene means peace,  who deals to people whose souls are already in the depths of hell. They are the people which the government can't handle. And that's the main reason why our organization existed. I know that killing is a sin but for the peace of the world we took the role of less evil.

"Hmmmmmmm. Smell delicious", I said happily ng matapos ako mag luto. Fried rice, egg and bacon ang niluto ko. My usual brunch.

While eating, I'm checking my phone. Baka may important texts and emails from the organization. I scanned the texts that I received, mostly from Vince lang so I didn't bother to check. For sure puro kayabangan lang content nun.

I opened Red message.
"What's your next mission girl?" tsaka ko lang naalala yung folder na binigay ni boss. Di ko pa pala natitignan yung laman nun. Thanks to Red. Muntik ko ng makalimutan. I finished my food after 10 minutes. Dali dali kong hinalughog ang buong condo ko para hanapin ang folder na binigay ni boss.

"Shit! Saan ko ba hinagis yung folder na yun?", I whisper to myself. I look for the folder almost half an hour. Finally nakita ko din. Nasa likod lang pala ng TV. Siguro nung hinagis ko kahapon---- I mean kaninang madaling araw , duon sumuot.

I opened the folder and scanned the papers and pictures inside.

"Breathtaking", the first word that comes in my mind habang titig na titig sa lalake sa larawang hawak ko.

"Damn! He is gorgeously handsome." His curly hair that slightly covering his coal black eyes, his aristocratic nose, and his cupid bow shape lips. Maxwell Gray Moretti. The man who captivate my eyes.

I felt hot by just staring in this guy picture! Shit! Anong nangyayari sakin? Nahawa na yata ako kay Vince!

"Erase. Erase", I told myself habang umiiling. Then I breath in and out to calm my hormones---- I mean myself.

Tinago ko na ang hawak kong larawan at chineck ang mga papers na kasama nito. My next mission is Mr. Moretti. He owns one of the largest pharmaceutical company in the country.

Ang misyon ko s si Mr.Moretti dahil isa sya sa target ng Scorpions-the organization that is protecting the untouchable. Sila ang gumagawa ng paraan para sa mga illegal na gawain. Kadalasan din sila ang nag foformulate ng mga bagong drugs na binebenta sa black market.

Mr. Moretti is a genius when it comes to chemicals. Gusto nilang gamitin ang kakayahan at kaalaman ni Mr. Moretti para umimbento ng mapanganib at makapangyarihang formula. The Scorpion organization is crazy about mind controlling. They want to formulate such an inhumane drug. Hindi ako sigurado kung possible iyon but I'm afraid na in the future is ma achieve ng Scorpion ang ultimate goal nila. We need to move fast.

I continue studying the documents and found out that I'm going to be a staff in the main building. A janitress. Hmmmmm. Sounds exciting. Another life experience.

I'll start tomorrow so I need all the information about Mr. Moretti and I know one person who can gather that informations in no time. Vincent Ian Cross.

Habang ng paplano ako kung paano ko mababantayan bukas si Mr. Moretti while being a janitress ay naligo na ako at nag bihis para makapunta na sa HQ. I need Vince service asap.

I drove my Dodge Viper to the HQ. Pag dating ko ay agad kong hinanap si Vince. Una kong pinag tanungan si Red na nag momonologue sa isang sulok.

"I will bury that monkey six feet under the ground!"

"Bago mo ibaon ng buhay kung sino man yang kaaway mo Red sabihin mo muna sakin kung nasaan si Vincente." Pag gambala ko sa pag momonologue ni Red.

"I saw him with Zy. Kinukulit si Zy na mag clubbing daw sila. You know, horny as ever."  Sagot ni Red while rolling her eyes.

"Thanks." Then I continue searching for Vince. Natanaw ko si Zy na kakalabas lang ng office ni Boss.

"Zy! Wait up!" Mabilis kong tinakbo ang kinaroroonan ni Zy not minding my 5 inches stiletto.

Zyrius gave me a puzzle look. But still wait for me.

"Did you see Vince? Red told me that you two are together." Sabi ko agad kahit medjo malayo pa ako sa kanya. Baka kasi mainip sya at biglang umalis. May topak pa man din to.

"He is in the satellite room. Why are you looking for him? I thought you hate him." He said in a what-the-matter voice.

"I need his skills", I answered him nang makalapit na ako sa kanya. "I heard from Red na inaaya ka ni Vince mag clubbing aye? Did you said yes? Baka mag ka STD ka, ingat ka hah", I said while removing invisible dust in his shoulder.

"I'm busy and not interested. So no", he said while growling in my direction. Asar na naman si Zy. He really didn't disappoint me.

"Thanks", I said while having a huge grin in my face at tinungo na ang satellite room.

Nang makarating ako sa satellite room ay agad akong pumasok at pinalibot ang aking tingin. My eyes settle to the person I've been searching for. I walk towards his direction.

"I need you." I said in a monotone voice. Bigla namang napatingin sa gawi namin ang lahat ng nasa loob ng silid.

"I mean--- I need him to do me a favor. I need information. Fast." Bigla kong sabi because they are giving me a teasing look.

"You don't need to explain princess. I'm all yours." Vince said teasingly. I'm about to get my gun pero naalala ko I'm the one who is asking a favor. I count to 3 to clam my self.

"Let's talk outside." At nauna na akong lumabas. Agad namang sumunod si Vince after nyang sabihin na ayaw nyang pag hintayin ang kanyang prinsesa- which is ako.

"I need all the information about Maxwell Gray Moretti. I also need the blue print of the MGM Pharmaceutical main building and his house. ASAP" I told Vince pag kalabas namin sa satellite room.

"And what will you give me in return? A date will do." Vince said with a mischievous grin on his face.  Tuso talaga.

"I'll introduce you to someone. Is that enough?" I bribe. Tutal basta may palda papatusin ng gagong to.

"Deal! Siguraduhin mong maganda yan Princess hah. You know my taste." Excited na sabi ni Vince. Sabi na eh. A whore is a whore. "Give me 10 minutes." At bumalik sa loob si Vince.

After less than 10 minutes ay binalikan ako ni Vince sa labas at may inabit na flash drive sa akin. "All the information you asked is in there. Don't forget our deal, ok?" At muli ng pumasok sa loob without waiting for my reply. Bastos.

I look at the usb in my hand at umalis na. I didn't know that this mission will makes me face my past.
