Just before the second period started, Alina chose the same seat of a different room. Different set of people were her classmates on this subject aside from a selected few she recognized from before. This time, she noticed Lucian positioned on the far end of the opposite side, still keeping distance from people while eagerly typing on his MacBook. Everything else in between them is rather empty.

"Very well. You lot are already settled for this subject as I can see," an instructor speaks as he walks across the front. He is a late-20s male with brown complexion dressed in a nice beige suit contouring his broad shoulders and seemingly firm body outline. "For this semester, I'll be your professor in Business Ethics. I go by the name Mr. Jeremy Smith," he introduced with a genuine smile. "I would like everyone to start every meeting by greeting me and everyone else in this room a good morning."

The class understood his gesture hence spoke in choir, "Good morning Mr. Smith."

"Well appreciated, class. A very good ethical deed to mark the start of our subject. " He then proceeded with a few noteworthy information and later outlined the subtopics for the semester.

Alina was instantly distracted when she heard a noise of a chair being dragged against the floor. When she twisted her head towards it, she was welcomed by a soft pair of emerald green eyes nicely blending with his fringe ash brown hair. Although he is a couple of chairs away from Alina, the man felt obliged to respond to her reaction. "Do you mind?"

Alina shook her head as she mouthed, "No." The guy responded with a brief smile as he finally sat.

"Alright, listen carefully," Mr. Smith started with a loud voice. "As per the school's new revised curriculum and anent to this subject's preliminary requirement, your batch will be the first to commence the 80-hour work immersion on designated companies. By the end of the week, you are to submit your resume attached to the application letter of the enterprise of your choice." He flashed a long list of names of business entities on the screen. "Here are the classifications with specific departments available for immersions. I ask that you choose carefully as you might want to add this experience in your resumes for an actual job application."

Alina warily eyes the projected list. "Damn, this is hard," she whispered to herself, noticing that it contains a lot of top and high-end companies from various fields. She thoughtfully mumbles the names of each option and halts on one familiar name, "Dreamcatcher Inc.?" Right at that moment, she immediately knew what to do.

"Now, class, I would also like to announce that by next week's Monday and Wednesday, you will undergo interviews from your chosen company. Consequently, you will start the immersions every Friday and Saturday from that moment forward until the completion of your 80-hour service." Mr. Smith started to hand out waiver forms to the students on the front. "Please get one and pass. I also ask that you let your parents be informed of this and subsequently give their consent together with their signature on the form. Is there any query?"

Everything then became a white noise in Alina's point of view as she fell through her thoughts as to today's events.

Her void was shattered by a word coming from her professor's mouth, "Dismissed." She sighed in frustration, realizing that she totally mentally skipped the whole discussion.
