London's POV
3 weeks later
It's been about three weeks since I left my small town to come to New York, and start over. Well try to start over. The transition has been somewhat tough. Coming here with nothing but a suitcase, and what was in my savings account has proved to be a little difficult but I managed. I was living in a motel for the first week, then I finally found a little studio apartment that was for rent, so I snatched it up.
But I didn't end up finding job until this week, and it was a good paying gig at this café that wasn't far from my apartment. So far being here I was loving it. I also was able to get into the doctor to check on my little peanut. I'm only 5 weeks along so I don't get an ultrasound just yet, but the doctor has been using a doppler so I could hear the heartbeat.
I've also been working on transferring my credits, and courses for medical school to NYU. It's still showing to be a little tougher than I thought, but hopefully I can get that figured out soon enough.
I left most of my old life back in my small town, but the thing I didn't leave behind was the people in it. Which is what I was trying to escape the most.
I still to this day continue to get calls from all of them, even Cole. All of them were worried, then mad, now really it's just desperation. They tend to call me a couple times a week. But honestly I don't mind, because even if they are pissed off, I still love listening to the voicemails they leave, just to have some comfort.
But other than that, I'm doing okay.
I got up early this morning to get a morning jog in before going to work. I've been trying to get more active, they say it helps with your mind set. Which is kind of true.
After my run, I came home and ate a quick breakfast of oatmeal and fruits before jumping in the shower. I gobbled down every last bite of the oatmeal, cleaning the bowl and placing on the drying rack. I walked into my tiny bathroom that held a little sink with a toilet placed right next of it, and a tall shower standing next to it.
I strip my body of the sweaty jogging gear, and pulled my pony out of my hair. I opened the shower door and turn the water to scolding hot. I stood there for a minute, letting the water warm all the way up before stepping in.
When I stepped into the shower, I let the hot water run all the way down my body. I ran my fingers through my hair making sure to wet ever inch of it. After wetting my hair I lathered it in my same old vanilla shampoo, then did the same to my body with my body wash. After rinsing myself of all the soap, I turned off the water and reached out to grab my towel. I wrapped the towel around my body tightly before stepping out on to the bath mat.
After my refreshing shower, I continued my normal routine. I started by brushing my teeth and hair. I then threw my hair up into a tight ponytail, making sure that no strands were hanging out. Keeping the towel around me I walked my way to my closet that sat right next to my bed, and picked out a pair of black jeans with a long sleeve black shirt. After dressing myself, I picked up my phone from the nightstand next my bed and checked at the time.
" Shit." I cursed to myself.
I was running a tad bit behind. I rushed around the apartment to find the essentials that I needed for work. After finding the essentials I put them in my bag, then threw my bag onto my shoulder and started my walk to work.

Couple of hours later
I've been at work a while now. We were really busy from the breakfast and lunch rush that I was just now getting a break. Working this job was fun but tiring. It was fun, well because you saw new faces every single day, but tiring, well I think you know why.
I was sitting in the locker room scrolling through my phone when I heard the door opening. I looked up and saw my co-worker Jamie standing there.
" Hey London, I know it's your break but I was wondering if you'd be a dear and help with the rush that was coming through?" She asked with a smile on her face.
" Of course." I complied smiling back at her.
She walked back to the front, leaving me to put my stuff up. I exited out of my phone, and placed it on the top shelf. I grabbed my lock that sat next to where I sat on the bench and locked up my locker.
I walked to the door straightening up my apron before walking out.

End of shift
I was now at the end of my shift. Everything had been locked down, the only thing I had left to do was wipe down tables. I grabbed a bucket and rag from the kitchen, using it to wipe do all the dirt and grim from each table.
After wiping down the tables I poured out the grimy water that was left over, and threw the dirty rag and a basket.
I walked out of the kitchen and into the locker room to grab my stuff. When I unlocked my locker, the first thing I picked up was my phone. When checking my phone I seen that I had one missed call from 2 hours ago. I clicked on the log, and saw that it was from Lauren. I decided not to wait to listen to the voicemails incase something was wrong.
I pressed on the first voice mail that I had in my inbox.
" Hey honey, I don't know if your getting these at all, but I'm hoping you are. We all miss you and just wish you would come home. Or atleast wish you would just call to say you were fine. But anyway I thought that I would just call to let you know that she's awake . My babygirl is awake, and she's healthy. But she's worried about you, and she wants to see you. So please just call me back. Please honey just come home. I love and miss you."
'Voicemail ended'
I stood there in complete shock. I didn't know what to say or do. Paris was awake and asking for me. But why? Why would she be asking about me?
