Josephine smiled slightly.

"So, Geeree. How do we get out of here, to go dimension hopping?" She asked.

"Why that's simple. Just look here!"

It was still far too dark to see in the hole, so Josephine just tried to follow the direction of Geeree's voice.

"Right here, see?"

And suddenly, a part of the hole parted away, like a curtain.

Light flooded into the small room, and Josephine could suddenly see.

Geeree smiled at her. Josephine just stared at him in shock,

She could now see Geeree perfectly, and how strange he looked!

He had wild thick brown hair, light brown skin, and green eyes that seemed to glow.

But that wasn't the shocking part.

The shocking part was the fact that he had a (rather smallish) pair of leathery batwings protruding from his back.

Geeree simply stood there, and looked at Josephines amazed face, with confusion on his.

"What is it?" He said.

"Do I have something on my face?"

Josephine shook her head slowly.

"You have wings..." She whispered.

"Huh? Oh, yeah. I do."

"You have wings...."

"Um, yes."

"Why didn't you just fly us out of here?!" She angrily asked.

"Because, You're in a different dimension! It wouldn't have mattered!"

"You could have done something!" she said.

"Ok, ok. Listen." He said.

"I know a lady who can help us find the next hole to the next dimension. She may be able to even help us open them ourselves. But she lives in the city beyond this hole, so we need to get there, possibly now!"

"Well.. Let's go then!"

They had walked down a large hill, right down into the city.

Josephine had to admit that this dimension was far more beautiful than her own,

It was filled with lights, colors, and interesting creatures.

Some of the creatures were humanoid, some were like aliens, and some were like animals.

"Come on, her home is this way." Geeree said, taking Josephine's wrist, and pulling her along.

The streets of the city were filled with people, and shop stands that sold strange things.

Some of the shops sold strange looking clothes that had spikes, or bone accessories on them.

Some of the clothes appeared to be made out of rainbows or sunlight, they were so colorful and light looking.

Some of the shops sold weird looking fruit, strange meat, and some food that the alien creatures dined on by the stands didn't even seem like food at all!

"Here's her home." Geeree said, pointing to a plain, stone building. A sign hung outside the door reading;

"Opal Valentina; Healer"

Below that read a few strange words in a language Josephine did not know.
