Late Nights*

(y/n)'s pov

I felt horrid after having cried. Its really tiring when I cry and this time I had cried myself to sleep. I had woke up just as I saw Tsukishima's silhouette going to leave the room. Then something came over me and caused me to reach out and grab his wrist, "Wait...Tsukishima...can you stay?"

He looked back at me a little bit startled probably because he thought I was asleep and replied, "Okay." I moved over so that way he could come under the blanket and we just laid there in silence. "So...do you want to talk about your reasons?" he asked, turning so that he faced me. 

"Maybe another time..." I said turning away from him. He wrapped his arms around me and I could feel the heat of his body pressing against mine. "...Thanks...Tsukishima," I tiredly said. 

"For what?" he asked.

"for... being there when... I needed it most..."

Tsukishima's pov

'I cannot believe that she asked me to stay with her in bed. Maybe I pitied her but something was urging me to stay.'

I basically wrapped my body around her to comfort her. I couldn't really think of anything else and it felt really nice so I kinda just did it. 

~Timeskip~

I woke up around midnight and saw that (y/n) was asleep and seemed happy. I decided that it was probably time for me to go and so I got off the bed. I accidentally woke (y/n) up. (y/n) gave me a hug in her groggy state then went back to bed shortly after. 

'I still can't believe that I just slept with her for a little.'

I returned back to the Karasuno mansion to see that some of the boys weren't there still. I didn't even notice that Yamaguchi was in the room we shared when I returned till I heard his voice. "So what were you doing with (y/n)?" I thought I was imagining things at first since it looked like Yamaguchi was asleep.  "Tsukki?"

"We just hung out for a little." 

"Oh okay."

"Why?"

"I was just curious," Yamaguchi said, "I'm surprised you have a soft spot."

"Soft spot?" I asked not exactly knowing what he meant by that. 

"I mean normally you wouldn't do that with anyone else right?" 'Yeah probably not.' "You're also happier than usual when you're around (y/n)." 'Is he implying that I'm usually mad? ' "Do you by any chance... Uh nevermind."

"No, what were you going to ask, Yamaguchi?"

"It's...uh nothing." 

"Oh okay then."

"Night Tsukki."

"Night Yamaguchi." 

I laid in bed staring at the ceiling, processing what had happened this evening and thinking about (y/n). 

'Not only had I been in bed with (y/n) and got to embrace her but I had seen what truly lies beneath her thick skin. I had stopped her from doing something she could regret later. For a girl who's so strong though... I have to wonder what is troubling her. She has everything that one could possibly want, athleticism , money and a - no Kei! don't go there!  She has a dream life so what is it that has left her mental state in hell?'

Yamaguchi's pov

'Tsukishima came back late after spending the whole evening with (y/n). I'm too nervous to talk to her but if I just let Tsukishima hangout with her the whole evening I may lose my chance. Tsukishima probably doesn't even realize his feelings.

If only I knew how to approach someone as strong as her. 

If only I was stronger.'
