A Paw Patrol Story: More than a Show

Chapter 1: Preparations Pt.1

It was time for the Adventure Bay Annual Talent Show again. Ryder and the pups were helping Mayor Goodway with preparations and setting up the stage.

"Excellent work pups!" Ryder said. "Yes. At this rate we'll be finished before noon. Thanks again Paw Patrol for all your help!" Mayor Goodway said. "No problem Mayor! Whenever you have a talent show, just yelp for help!" Ryder replied. "Ooh that reminds me, are you pups going to perform at the talent show?" The mayor asked. They all nodded. "That's great news! I'll see you pups at the talent show!" The mayor said before entering City Hall. "Alright pups! Let's get back to the Lookout to get ready for the talent show." Ryder said. They all howled in excitement as they drove back to the Lookout.

They were all busy preparing for their performances. Rubble is going to sing the Friendship Song with Ryder and Katie. Rocky is going to do the longest drum solo ever using some recycled buckets, barrels and old drums. Skye is going to do some trick-flying with Ace. Zuma is going to show off his Pup-Pup Boogie skills in a dance number.

Meanwhile...
Marshall and Chase were still thinking about what to do for the talent show.
"We could tapdance?" Marshall suggested. "Nah, too oldschool." Chase replied. "Hmm, what about singing?" Chase suggested. "Uhhmm, I-I don't know.." Marshall said uncomfortably. "Come on Marshall, it could be your chance to show Everest your love." Chase said playfully while nudging Marshall's shoulder. "OR your chance to show Skye YOUR love for her." Marshall countered. "Hehe, you're probably right." Chase said after thinking about it. "Wait, you're serious? I was just kidding!" Marshall said waving his paws in front of Chase. "It's actually the perfect idea Marshall! But we need the right songs to perform, and who's going to sing lead first."

Chase said. "O-okay, let's see..."
