"Those names who I called,please come to the front. Andrew,Amira,Bobby,Chloe......"

I wonder what is this all about. Mrs.S is calling those smart peeps in class. Am I gonna be called next? I mean,I'm kind of good in Biology. I got an A- last exam.

*bell rings*

It's recess!But Mrs.S is not over yet. Urghh. And there goes the students from next class. Oh wait! That's his classmates. I wonder....and there he is....Chris.He looks so cool.

"And Sarah."

Hmm?I got called.

"The others are dismissed."

.....

"And as for those who I called,I am happy to announced that you all are selected to enter the National Biology Quiz.But this quiz will be held next week which is just before the mid-year exam so I'm giving you the choice to enter it or not. Anyone interested to join can give their names to me by tomorrow.The person who scored the highest will be invited to the award giving ceremony but do remember that there'll be other schools participating too. Don't worry,participation certificate will also be given & they'll be good for your universities application.I'll leave this paper about the time and place of the competition to ....Sarah.If you have any questions,you may meet me in the staffroom later.That is all."

Me?I took the paper and read it to myself.Hmm...it says it'll be held at the school lab next Thursday,9-10 a.m. and every school participating will be answering the question during the same time at their respective school.

Woah. This is cool. Yeah,I don't mind doing that quiz. I do need to study for my exam anyways and now I have one week before that quiz.

-On the day of the National Biology Quiz,at the school lab-

Woah,these are kind of detailed questions but luckily they're all multiple choice questions. Phew. And.....done. Now the teachers will collect the answer sheets. Hmm...I bet there'll be some who rechecks their answers as they let us keep the question paper. I don't mind rechecking this time but if you get it wrong,it's wrong. Most people react frustatedly from their wrong answer.There's no use of regretting it as if that can change the answers.

-Back to class-

*chattering sounds**students coming in & out of the class*

Hmm? It seems like there's no teachers in class.

"Hey! You guys are back! So how was it? Must be super hard." There goes Joey greeting me & our classmates who just got back from the lab.  

Joey is one of my closest guy friends. He sometimes comes to my table to talk & study. "Why is everyone relaxed & roaming around? Is the teacher absent today?" I asked him. "Oh,no. All the teachers are having a meeting so they won't be here untill recess. What's that? The question paper you just answered? Can I have a look?". I passed him the paper, "Sure.But not all of my answers are right so...." 

"It's okay. I want to try answering them at my seat with Mike." And there he goes with my paper. Well no harm can be done. 

*Students walking pass the corridor*

Since I sit near the door, I can't help looking at people passing by & entering this class. Hmm? Someone's coming. Oh shoot! It's him.Act natural,Sarah! 

......

And there Chris goes to Joey's seat. Well,they're bestfriends. If only Joey was still here with me, Adam must have come to my table too. Ha~

"Sarah!!" I turned around to Joey's place. "Chris would like to borrow your question paper. Do you mind?"

*mini heart attack* "Oh! Not at all. As long as he returns it to me after that ."

"Thanks, Sarah," said Chris with a big smile across his face.

*Heart melts**screaming inside*
