The Note

-A few days later,Sunday,dinner with family-

*in a middle of a family conversation*

My mom asked me,"So Sarah,how was that national quiz? Was it hard?" 

Hmm?Oh that quiz. "Hmm...it was OK,". Since my mom brought that topic up, I better revise back what they asked in that paper after dinner.

-In Sarah's bedroom,getting ready to have a quick revision-

Now time to do some checking. *reaches for school bag* *searching for the Biology National Quiz question paper* 

.....??

Oh shoot! It's with Chris. He forgot to gave it to me on Friday. Maybe I should remind him but how? Text him? Hmm...this would be a good chance to text him. I mean I'm just going to remind him to give back my paper. No biggie. Plus,it's pretty important since exams is just around the corner so I should not wait for him. Luckily I already have his number since we were once in the same group chat.

*Typing*

 "Hey,Chris. It's Sarah. Don't forget to send back my question paper 😁"

That's good enough. Now,send. *press send* *gets away from the phone* And let's do some other stuff.

-A few minutes later-

*Notification pop up sound*

Hmm...is it him? *peeks* IT IS! And he says....

 "Okey.Thanks👌" 

Well,that's done. I can't believe I texted him. And he replied back! So I might see him tomorrow *squeals* Or maybe he could just leave it on my table. I'm too shy to meet him. Maybe he'll leave a message saying thanks. Arghh, I'll just have to wait till tomorrow.

-The next day at school-

*bell rings*

Hmm....it's already recess time & Chris hasn't come to my class yet. Maybe his class is finishing a bit late. I haven't seen any of his classmates pass by yet. How is he gonna give me my paper back? Oh well, he's gonna give it to me somehow.

"Sarah,let's go. I'm hungry," complained my deskmate,Rachel. "Coming~"

-After recess-

I haven't seen Chris at the cafeteria.He usually would be there. Maybe he spent his recess at the library instead? 

*Enter class*

Hmm? What's that on my table? Eh?! It's my question paper! Chris  must have placed it during recess. Well,now at least I got it back. *Lifts up paper* Hmm? What's this? A pink sticky note? What does it says? 

"No matter what obstacle you're facing,just remember that you've overcome many obstacle before. And this will also be one of them. -A- "

*panic* WHAT'S THIS?! DID HE LEFT THIS FOR ME? Why would he? I mean a simple thanks would be enough but this? "A"? Maybe it's not from Chris. Then who else would it be from? But it's under this paper. Maybe he just put it as A since it's the first alphabet. This handwriting seems familiar. I think there was several times I saw Chris' handwriting when Joey borrowed his book. What did he wrote again?

*reads* .....

Urghh my brain can't think about these words. They seem complicated to understand for a reason. Well it is Chris. He's super smart. No wonder his words are wiseful.

"Hey,Sarah. Are you OK?"
