Part 4 Into the Nejire Hole

After Amajiki left, Nejire found herself laying in bed trying to relax knowing he was right and she needed to sleep. This wasn't too difficult after crying her emotional levels had her drained. Closing her eye lids sleep came shortly after putting the female into an almost comatose state with soft breathing. Though not long after she had begun to have a nightmare about still being held by the League of Villains and then torturing her causing her the pain that she endured before waking up in the hospital.

Tossing and turning Nejire couldn't seem to stay comfortable in her sleep but the sweat on her brow suggested otherwise. The bluenette's eyes bolted open and she sat up straight, panting as she looked around, The sun was still out but it was setting, making the sky an a ray of pretty colors that the blue orbs could see from her window. Getting out of bed she rubs the shoulder where she had surgery near and was stitched up and with help of Recover Girl was healing but at the moment it was bothering her.

"What a nightmare...." Nejire spoke to herself walking to the door and opened it ready to step out, almost stepping into someone. "Huh? Oh..." Blue orbs fall on the slender form before her before blinking at the blonde but it wasn't Mirio. "Hawks?" She questions curiously. "What are you doing here at UA?" It was a big shock to have the number two hero at her door but thinking on it a little more there had to be a reason.

Hand in the air in a small fist the winged hero was about to knock on the door when it opened. This startled poor Hawks as she stepped back. "Oh! Uh...I came to check on you Hadou..." The female Hawks spoke up. "They said you were discharged back to the school and I wanted to check on you to make sure you are doing okay. Do you remember anything?" Fidgeting slightly the number two hero's golden brown hues looking over the bluenette's form.

"Remember...?" Nejire questioned curiosity in her tone as she stared towards the female before her. There was much to be curious about but her mind went back to the moment she was attacked by the league. It was big news about a blue haired heroine who tried to stop the league of villains on her own. This would draw attention towards the heroine but Hawks didn't show up for that and even a ditz like her knew this. The question of remembering anything caused her to wonder if Hawks had something to do with her getting out of there without being killed. That is the question that had been bothering her because the bluenette cannot remember how she escaped without being killed. "Remember? I'm still fuzzy on the details of how I escaped but I remember the things they did to me...." She said honestly the bubbly personality wasn't there.

------------------------------Hawk's Flash Back---------------------------------------

Hawks had been trying to escape for a breather from the public eye by getting a cup of coffee at a small shop one day. That is where she met the bluenette in question right now. Sitting at a table sipping her drink Nejire had come into the shop with such a carefree personality it would be hard to see anything wrong in the female's face. While Hawks was enjoying the time to herself, Nejire had other plans. The blue haired ditz went up to Hawks with her drink inviting herself to sit down and have a conversation. Hawks could tell from this encounter that the girl had potential and had a happy personality.

------------------------------------Back to Present---------------------------------

The tone in her voice was curious but Hawks just looked towards Nejire the way she was holding herself was not the way Hawks remembers when meeting her. The aura around her was off and the peppy curious carefree girl was not visible in this moment making Hawks worry a little more. What has happened to cause her to be like this? She assumed it was the league's torture and left it at that. Giving her a smile, Hawks spoke, "I see. Well I was informed about what happened and I rushed over to the hospital and they let me know you were leased so here I am.... So you really don't remember how you escaped?"

Why was the Hawks asking this again? Nejire wondered if the number two hero was hiding more than they were letting onto. The bluenette shook her head though and gave a smile towards Hawks. "I don't remember how I escaped. I was unconscious after enduring a lot of pain and passing out. I figured I was going to die there but I woke up in the hospital." She spoke about her experience and what she remembered but not in detail. She wasn't sure if she would be able to tell anyone in detail of what she went through.

Studying Nejire over, Hawks decided the bluenette was telling the truth about not knowing what had happened. This was good for the number two heroine due to her connections of being a double agent she couldn't risk the female knowing or telling anyone about her escape from the League of Villains. Still Hawks felt like she needed to keep an eye on the bluenette for the time being in case something comes back to her that could expose the winged hero.

--------------------------------Hawks' Flashback------------------------------------

Two figures met in the shadow of a back alley, one bearing red wings the other burn scars over most of his body. They were close to each other whispering and talking to each other. The burned male touching the female heroine's waist and giving her peppered kisses over the heroine's face. The two were secretly involved which led to the burnt villain to assist the heroine in getting Nejire out.Hawks spoke to Dabi about the issue and he had assisted at a price and that price was knowledge. The League needed some information that the Heroine could get for them which was a price Hawks was willing to pay for a life. She met the burnt villain once more, handing over the files of information they needed and in turn, Dabi handed over Nejire which is how the Heroine was able to save her and get her to the hospital.

Pleased with their conversation, Hawks bid the younger female farewell before making her way down the hallway and disappearing around the corner. This leaves Nejire by herself feeling confused and a little on edge from the interaction. The bluenette wanted to make her way down to follow the number two heroine but a voice stopped her partway down the hallway.

"Hadou? Where are you going?" A voice called after Nejire causing her to turn to see the source.
