"So..." Lisa cleared her throat as she leaned back into her chair, "How have you been?"

Dinner was quiet. Both girls ate their food in silence, constantly stealing a glance at each other from time to time. It gave Lisa an opportunity to properly look at Jennie. She had lost a little bit of weight but her chubby cheeks were still there. Her hair went down only to her chest and still the same color as it was before. Her skin was still porcelain and blemish-free, not a lot much changed about Jennie.

"I'm doing good. How about you?" responded Jennie.

"I'm doing good as well."

"You've changed a lot." stated Jennie, "It's a shame."

Lisa chuckled, "Staying the same is more of a shame than changing, in my perspective."

Jennie rolled her eyes, "You're a completely different person, you're using big words now, last time you were here you didn't even know how to spell cauliflower."

Lisa laughed, "I still have a hard time with spelling."

"Good to know you're still dumb."

"Hey! I own a million-dollar company, excuse you."

"How many kidneys are there in a human body, then?"

"Depends on whose body it is!"

Jennie laughed out loud and Lisa was caught off-guard. She had forgotten how Jennie's laugh sounded like, but she never forgot how it was the most captivating sound she's ever heard.

"How many kidneys do you have?" asked Jennie with a small smile.

"One."

"You have two, stupid."

"Where'd you think I got the money to take you out on this amazing restaurant?"

Jennie laughed out loud once again, "You're an idiot."

"I made you laugh two times already, does that mean we're friends again?" asked Lisa with teasing grin.

Jennie mirrored the grin Lisa wore, "Let me think about it."

"I believe we are." said Lisa.

"Believe what you want."

Lisa wore a toothless smile as she took a bite of her food.

"I'll drive you home." said Lisa as she walked out of the restaurant with Jennie.

"I bought a car." stated Jennie.

Lisa stopped in her tracks to look at Jennie with furrowed brows, "You hate driving."

"I had to get used to it since you weren't around to drive me." Jennie's voice was laced with sarcasm, but Lisa identified the sadness in it.

"I'm sorry." Lisa said the only thing she could say.

"Forget it." Jennie brushed it off as she continued to walk to where her car was parked. Lisa tailed behind her.

"Why are you following me?" asked Jennie, looking over her shoulder.

"Just wanted to make sure you're safe." said Lisa as Jennie turned her heel to face the taller girl again.

"You're not coming home with me." stated Jennie, obviously knowing Lisa's motive.

"You made it sound bad!" exclaimed Lisa, "It's not like we're gonna do anything, I just wanted to see our house again."

"It's my house, not ours." Jennie rolled her eyes.

"I bought it, Jennie."

Yes, she did. Her second anniversary gift to Jennie in 2020 was a house together.

"Then you should've taken our house with you when you left."

Lisa smiled teasingly, "You said our house."

"God, you're annoying." said Jennie with a sigh. "I'm going home."

Jennie opened her car door for her to get in the driver's seat but an arm stopped her, twirling her around and the next thing she knew, she was kissing a pair of lips. Lips that belonged to the one and only Lalisa Manoban.

Jennie found herself kissing back while an internal battle occured in her mind.

Pull away. Push her. Stop doing this. Jennie Ruby Jane STOP. But I kinda like it? Fuck. I like it. Remember how she hurt you. Remember how she hurt you so much it made you hurt herself.

At that thought, Jennie returned to her senses and shoved Lisa away, "You asshole!"

Lisa smirked, "You liked it, Jennie."

"Fuck you!"

Lisa laughed lightly at Jennie, "Soon, Jennie, soon."

Jennie's face was red of anger, or is it embarassment? Either way, her face was red and smoke was coming out of her ears.

"You're such an asshole!" said Jennie before swiftly getting in her car.

Lisa prevented Jennie from closing her car door with her hand before saying, "You like getting kissed on the first date, Jennie. It gives you a reason to go out on another one."

Jennie opened her mouth to react, but Lisa cut her off, "Drive safe, Jennie. See you soon."

With a wink, Lisa shut the door of Jennie's car.

Lisa walked away from Jennie's car with a little dance that Jennie rolls her eyes at.

Jennie shakes her head and runs her fingers through her hair as she sits in the driver seat of her precious Mercedes-Benz AG. She could not believe what had just happened. Was she hallucinating? Is she dreaming? Who knows.

Jennie took a deep breath before making the car's engine roar to life. Two things occupied her mind;

Lalisa Manoban and the fact that's she back to make her life miserable again.
