(7). Shaadi Bomb!

The groom, Cabir mounting the Ghodi(Horse or mare) in a ceremonial manner, accompanied by members of his family arrives at the wedding venue, the hotel. The wedding procession with a full band-party that plays peppy musing and the members of the wedding procession dance to it.

This is the most warm and hospitable ceremony of the wedding and Punjabis are definitely known for these two attributes the most!!
The bride's family gives a warm welcome to the groom and his baraatis (guests).

Upon entering the wedding hall, Cabir is led towards the stage and made to stand upon a small pedestal.
Cabir, looking so well Punjabi groom wearing Sherwani with lots of embellishments with zari threadwork, beadwork, and stone decoration. He pairs the sherwani with a pajama in a complementary color, also a dupatta around his neck. He's wearing a traditional jutti or more modern loafers with the whole outfit. A headdress with dangling strands of decorative ribbons and even strings of pearls that cover his face known as Sehra. And not to forget him holding their traditional talwar(sword) in his right hand all the time.
Holy Goodness! He looks so priceless in his expensive designer outfit n charming face.

At the designated muhurat the bride, Navya arrives at the stage and the couple exchange garlands. The fun-filled ceremony where there happens a competition among the two sides to lift either the bride or the groom higher so that the other cannot put the garland over his or her head.
Cabir bends his head for Navya to put the garland making everyone hoot and Navya blush in darker shades.

In Kanyadaan, a touching and sentimental ceremony. Navya's father gives his daughter's hand (literally) in the hands of her groom, Cabir, and asks him to treat her with love, care, attention, and respect.
