Annika had a simple life. She lived in Delhi with her parents and elder sister who was married happily to her childhood friend.

She was not a nerd and also not a queen bee. Had best friends who were her secret keepers. She was a example of a modern plus traditional girl. Apart from all she was a dog lover. Had two dogs named Whiskey and  ' tipsy'. She loved them both.

Once a girl is settled and happy with her life. Starts the mission of getting them married.

Her simple got complicated when her parents started the mission. That is named 'get Annika married'. However Annika was not interested in it.

Her over dramatic mother tried all the melodrama and emotional blackmailing tricks but couldn't get Annika to meet a single boy or man. Whatever.

That's when her dad and sister entered the battle field. And this time she couldn't dismiss the looks her lovely dad gave.

The emotional speech about how he was getting old and would soon retire from work. How he wanted to see her happy in her life with her own family.

He very well knew that she wouldn't  ignore his pleadings and eventually agree for the alliance.

The boy's family were coming to see her on Sunday and she was busy finding ways to avoid it.

She hated the idea of arrange marriage because it felt as if she was a show piece they were buying. Coming to see her, huh.

But she even after being the great Annika Trivedi couldn't do anything. She had put up a facade of being unwell. But it didn't work.

She also made an excuse of planning a event but her cunning sister spoiled it.

It was Saturday morning and she still had not found a way out.

Coming out of her apartment she rushed to the terrace. She needed some fresh air to think. And at her home thinking couldn't be done with mindless people around.

"Yes bade papa I'll be there you please don't worry" she heard a manly voice and peeped on the other side of terrace to find Shivaay.

Shivaay was her neighbour. He had shifted here a year back.  However ,  didn't stayed here much. The society ladies were often seen talking about him. And why not, after all he was a emerging business icon.

However, she couldn't ignore the fact that he was handsome, smart, humble and some more adjectives. She liked him !

"Yes I'll leave around six in the morning and reach Chandigarh by road."he said over the call.

While Annika couldn't help but eavesdrop. As he hung up and started walking away. She rushed towards him.

Her cunning mind had a plan. A plan of her escape from her home.

"Hey Shivaay wait! hi" she greeted  with chirpy small smile. He turned back looked at her with  raised eyebrows.

"Are you going somewhere? " she asked as if they were Best friends.

Yes they both were neighbors but never talked to each other. Just a hi or hello.

Shivaay was puzzled by her behavior.

"Firstly , I would like to be called Mr Oberoi and secondly why were you  eavesdropping on my conversation?? he questioned pointedly.

"Well you have a nice name and Mr Oberoi seems., uncle types. And sorry for eavesdropping , I didn't mean to all the fault is of my ears.."she said awkwardly

"You see this is the first time we are conversing. And thanks for the compliment I know I have a nice name but not a uncle type surname" Shivaay answered leaning towards the railing and looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"You are going to Chandigarh right ?" she asked more like stated and he nodded.

"Are you going alone ?.. I mean I heard that you are going alone and off coarse you'll have space in your car"

She said and Shivaay smelt something fishy.

"So I was thinking to join you. I am too going to Chandigarh. And going alone would be boring so let's go together what say? She asked clapping her hands together.

Shivaay stared her amused , as much as he liked her he had never thought of her being this up front and frank.

Before Shivaay could answer she interrupted.

"What time you would be leaving five or six, six right. I'll be there at six"

"Annika, I am..." She didn't let him say as her phone rang.

"Shivaay , I need to go for now. Thanks for your help I'll be there at six okay. Wait for me!" she spoke again continuing her self conversation with him. She is not letting him speak. Like really !

"Okay bye Shivaay Oops Mr oberoi" she shouted running downstairs. Not even asking whether he would like to take her with him or not.

And here Shivaay couldn't believe that she self invited herself in this Chandigarh trip. Unbelievable

Annika who snoozed her alarm for five times before finally waking up for college was now standing in front of Shivaay's car at dot six in the morning.

"Good morning Shivaay. I mean Mr. Oberoi" she wished and sat on the passenger seat beside him.

Wishing her back Shivaay started the car. Annika waited whole five minutes for him to initiate a conversation but he didn't spoke a word.

She again spent three minutes thinking about anything she talk with him but nothing came in her mind. This was the longest she could stay quiet.

Shivaay was concentrating on driving but looking at the various kinds of faces she made while lost in her own set of thoughts he couldn't help but admire her cuteness.

She switched on the radio and he let her be. The were now on the highway. Annika observed that whenever he liked a song he raised the volume and if he didn't like then decreased the volume.

Even after trying a lot Shivaay couldn't stop himself from turning to her after a romantic song started. Annika too look towards him.

And then all of a sudden she pulled the hand break. The car stopped with a jerk. While Shivaay stared her wide eyed.
