10- The Rise Of Skywalker

Hey. Sorry for not updating in a while. I guess I didn't really have the time or motivation to write. But here we are with one of the last chapters of Kylo Ren x Reader!!!! Let's go!!!
THERE ARE LOTS AND LOTS OF SPOILERS IN THAT CHAPTER!!! IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN TROS YET WATCH IT AND COME BACK (also I changed the end cause my boys deserved better)

Hahahahaaaaaa...
You jolted awake, cold sweat dripping in your back. You knew that laugh even though you've never seen that person in your whole life. Palpatine, but, he is supposed to be dead! You sighed shaking a bit, that's impossible, Vader killed him, Luke saw it my mom saw it! So how? You got out of bed and went into your bathroom. You splashed some water in your face. I have to talk to Ben, surely he heard it too. You prepared yourself and got out of your chambers. The corridors were silent. It was early in the morning after all. You walked towards your friend's quarters. You were about to ring the bell when Kylo opened his door. You too jumped in surprise.
"Athelleen!"
"Kylo!"
"I was about to go to your chambers to talk to you!" Ben said, looking worried.
"Same for me!"
"Come in, I think it's better if no one else hears." Ben said, inviting you inside. He closed the door and you faced him. You looked at each other, confusion and fear showing in your eyes. He pulled you in a tight hug. She's shaking, Ben thought, I think she heard him as well.
"So," said Kylo releasing you, "why did you come here?"
"I heard Palpatine, somehow, he's returned! I feel darkness. He's up to something!" You said, looking at him. "I thought you would have heard him too, was I right?" You asked.
"Yes, you are right. That's why I wanted to see you. We need to find him." Ben responded. You nodded.
"I think I know where he is," you said, "some of the Jedi texts talked about a place, that was the hidden place of the Sith. Its name is Exegol. The planet is located within the Unknown Regions, so I don't know how to find it."
"I remember reading about that place. I think I remember a text telling how to find it. There's something that can help us, there are only two in the galaxy and I know where to find one."
You two nodded and decided to go get this object.
~~Time skip~~
You, Kylo and some troopers were on a planet battling with people to find the object you needed. After killing the last one, Kylo opened the box in front of him and took the precious object. He looked at you and nodded.
"I'll go there do you want to come?" He asked you.
"No, go alone, it'll be less suspicious. I'll go back to the base."
"Alright." He walked towards his ship and left the planet. You called back your troopers and got back to the First order base. When you arrived, you were greeted by Hux.
"General." You said nodding politely.
"Kenobi," he responded, "where is our Supreme Leader?"
"Gone to Exegol, can't tell you more for now." You replied simply.
He nodded. You went back to your chambers. Making sure no one could hear you, you opened a hologram.
"Leia," you said seeing the figure in front of you, " it's good to see you!"
"Yes it is," Leia said, looking rather preoccupied.
"You heard it too haven't you?"
"Yes. Somehow Palpatine has returned," She said worried, "we need to defeat him for good."
"Yes. How is Rey doing?"
"She's great, I am training her."
"This is good. I hope to see you soon Leia."
"Me too, May the force be with you Athelleen."
"May the force be with you..."
You turned off the hologram and sighed. I hope we will be able to kill Palpatine for good. Or else we're doomed. The sound of your datapad snapped you out of your thoughts. You took it and read the message: The supreme leader is back, he demands our presence for an urgent meeting.
-Hux
You closed your datapad and got out of your chambers. You entered the meeting room and sat beside Hux, who nodded at you as a greeting. Soon after that, Kylo entered the room slamming a Rebel's head on the table. Your eyes widened.
"We have a spy in our ranks, who just sent a message to the resistance."
You glanced at hux nervously. You didn't know if Hux also sent a message to Leia. Hux looked at you confused.
"Whoever this traitor is won't stop us." General Pryde looked at Hux. Oh no, does he know something? You thought. Kylo continued his speech.
"I sense unease about my appearance General Hux," said Ren turning towards him. Everybody looked at him.
"About the mask?" Asked hux, visibly nervous, "No sir. Well done." Soon the subject was changed and you were relived. Pryde then talked about the fleet the Sith gave them while looking at Hux. Then, one of the generals asked what Palpatine wanted in return and was lifted in the air by Ben. The Supreme Leader declared that him and the Knights of Ren would go hunt for Rey. You weren't a knight of Ren but you would always accompany Ben anyways. He didn't mind, any help to win would be accepted.
~~Time Skip to the planet~~
You and Ren were flying through the desert planet to find Rey. Kylo saw Rey and you two sped up in your ships. Ben was flying directly in front of the female Jedi. She turned around and started running. What does she have in mind? You asked yourself. Then, she did a backflip and cut a part of your friend's ship. You gasped. The ship went flying away. You sped up and jumped out of your ship to help Ben. Soon, he was on his feet trying to stop Rey. He was walking towards the Jedi and used the force like her. Suddenly, lighting came out of Rey's hand! Such power! I've only heard about this type of power when my parents were talking about... your eyes widened. Impossible. Could she be... related to the Sith Lord? The ship exploding snapped you out of your thoughts. You looked at who nodded.
~~Time skip to later in the ship~~
You were walking with Pryde and Hux. The redhead mentioned a transport that brought back a valuable prisoner. You had a feeling about who it was. Hux led you to the prisoner and the door opened, revealing Chewbacca! He roared angrily, then looked at you and roared softly. You understood what he said. He was happy to see you in good shape. Chewie was then taken to interrogation. You followed the troopers.
"Let me interrogate him, I knew how to speak Wookie."
"Alright miss." The troopers left and you took Chewbacca into the room.
"What are you doing here?" The Wookie roared.
"I see, so Rey and the others think you are dead." Chewbacca nodded.
"Well, I can't do much for you right now but I'll find a way to get you out of here." Chewie hugged you as roared.
"I know I missed you too. Hope this will be over soon!" You got out of the room.
"No luck?" Asked hux.
"No luck. The Resistance is tough and stubborn." Hux seemed angry.
"Where's Ren?" You asked.
"On the planet where the Rebels are. He's looking for that Scavenger."
You nodded then left. You had a feeling they weren't on that planet. You saw a ship entering the base. I knew it! You told yourself. Hux wasn't here anymore. What is he planning? You tried to look for him. You saw him with Poe, Finn and Chewbacca.
"General Hux!" You shouted. "Where are you going with these Rebels?"
The General stopped and turned around. He was about to reply when you cut him off.
"The main hangar is easier to access if you turn left not right." You said smirking. He looked at you in confusion. Poe and Finn smirked.
"You?!!? You're also a spy? How did you know I was one!?"
"To make it simple, you should have never gave me the code to access your chambers. I saw you talking with Leia once. She then confirmed my suspicions." Hux nodded and led your three friends out of here. Later, you met your droid friends. Hux opened the door so that they could escape.
"Wait!" He said to Finn, "blast me in the arm or they'll know." Finn blasted him in his leg. The General screamed in pain.
"Why are you helping us?" Finn asked.
"I don't care if you win, I need Kylo Ren to lose." You knew deep down that Hux also wanted the Resistance to win. Yes Ben would lose, but he would not die. Finn ran to catch his friends while you helped the general up.
"I need to see Pryde and tell him about that."
"Wait hux! Let me come with you. I don't know why, but I have the feeling that you're not safe alone."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm pretty sure Pryde will kill you. I can save you, we need your help in the resistance. Please."
"Alright, come on!"
You two entered the room where Pryde stood. Hux told them what happened, you saw that the Allegiant General was not buying it.
"Get me the Supreme Leader," Pryde said. He then turned around and shot hux, or so he thought. When he shot Hux, you were able to send him your healing power so that he would just be injured and not dead. Hux Fell to the ground unconscious
"Tell him we found our spy," said Pryde. You dragged Hux out of the room with the help of some troopers. After they helped you, you carried him to his chambers and laid him on his bed. You locked the door and got the first aid kit. Knowing what to do, you removed his uniform and disinfected his wounds. Then, using your powers, you healed his wounds. You sighed. Good he's not dead. That's good I suppose. You sat on his couch. I'll wait for him to wake up, then I'll leave with him to the resistance base.
You waited for some time. Then, later, you heard some shifting in his bed. You saw Hux opening his eyes. He groaned and sat up. You marched towards him and gently pushed him down.
"Woah there, don't do that, we don't want you passing out again heh?"
The General nodded softly.
"How are you feeling?" You asked.
"Fine, though I'm confused." Replied the General, sleepy.
"About what?"
"How did I survive? I was clearly shot and now there's nothing but a mere scar!" He looked at his bare chest, a tiny scar showing. You chuckled softly.
"That's the power of the Force. When you were shot, I used the force to heal you a bit, making you unconscious and not dead."
The General nodded. You opened his closet and found some more casual clothes than his uniform. Tossing them on the bed you said
"Here, get dressed. We have to get out of here I know a way." You turned around to give the General some privacy.
"Why did you save me Athelleen?" The General suddenly asked.
"Because I think that you actually care about the Resistance winning the war. I also think you're a good person that deserves better than the First Order am I right?" You replied still not looking. You heard him sigh.
"You're right. I actually want the Resistance to win. I don't want to live in darkness and fear." Hux finished putting on his shirt and told you he was ready.
"Now," he asked raising an eyebrow, "how do you plan on escaping without getting caught?"
"Don't worry General," you said smirking, "I know the perfect way..."
~~later~~
"The ventilations? Really?" Asked the General, a bit discouraged.
"What were you expecting? This base is heavily guarded and you're supposed to be dead." You two crawled for a while until you stopped and opened the trap. You peeked and saw no one. You graciously landed on the floor, the General following you.
"And how to you plan in stealing a ship? This is a personal hangar!" Hux asked a bit annoyed.
"Well, luckily for us it happens to be my personal hangar with my ship in it." You said smirking. You took out your access card and opened the door. You two got in the ship and left the base.
~~~ later~~~
"Hux can you do me a favour and contact General Organa please?"
"Sure" Hux executed your demand and soon, the image of leia appeared.
"Athelleen, Hux, what are you two doing?"
"Leia, hi, uhh... I'm currently flying to the Base, I managed to escape with Hux."
"Alright, I suppose we're expecting a First Order ship?"
"Uhh... yeah, I'll contact you when we're arriving." You two nodded and hung up.
Soon after that, you arrived at the base. Your coworkers were coming to greet you. Hux stayed silent. Leia came soon after that greeting the both of you. Suddenly, you two felt that something was off with Rey and Ben. Leia looked at you and you understood immediately. It pained you a lot because you knew Leia was about to use the last of her energy to contact her son, then she'd die.
"Athelleen..." the voice of your mother figure startled you.
"Y-yes?" You said.
"Please, I want you to be with me in my last moments." She held your hand. You nodded, tears in your eyes and hugged her.
"I never had the opportunity to thank you for everything you did for me. Thanks for being here when I needed you."
Leia smiled, she was happy.
"Take care of Ben, you two deserve to be happy together." She then contacted her son and died after that. You stayed silent, feeling peace and sadness. Suddenly, you felt a hand on your shoulder. You turned around and saw Hux looking at you, concerned. Tears formed in your eyes and you hugged Hux tightly. He hugged you too.

A few hours later...
Ben! Where was your friend. You felt that he had left the dark side. You wondered where he was going. In the mean time, Poe, Finn, Chewbacca and the droids had returned. Chewie was devastated when he heard that leia was gone. Poe was now the new general and he took his role seriously. Then, all of you saw a signal that Rey was sending through Luke's X-wing. You now had the way to Exegol! While everyone was preparing for the battle, you went into your old quarters and took your real lightsaber with you. You jumped into your ship and flew with the rest of the Resistance. Arrived there, you felt that Ben was there and that he was looking for Rey. You saw his ship and him walking. Speeding up, you caught him and he smiled. You didn't have to say anything. You knew he had changed. When you were down, you were attacked by the Knights of Ren. Rey had felt bens presence so she passed him his lightsaber with the force. You two fought together like you used to. After killing the last of them you ran to join Rey, she was fighting Palpatine's guards. You three looked at each other and faced the Sith Lord. Palpatine used his powers to make you lose you weapons and brought Ben and Rey to him. You just stood there, unable to move. Palpatine felt the bond between your two friends and was amazed about it. He then tried to steal their power. You did the best you could to move. After making your friends fall to the ground, the sith glanced at you and saw you moving towards him.
"You shouldn't try to defy me Jedi. I am more powerful than you."
"We'll see about that!" You said smiling. The Sith Lord produced lightning towards you so that he could stun you but you were quicker and made blue fire appear from your hands, making impossible for the lightning to reach you. Palpatine's eyes widened. You just smirked.
"I've only seen that kind of power once, and it was your grand mother who had it... still, you are no match for me."
You kept your focus on your enemy. Suddenly, you saw he was looking at your friends, you glanced down to see Ben getting up. Palpatine took the occasion and threw your friend away, making you lose your focus on him. He then struck you with his power, hitting you in one eye. The power was so strong that you flew away near Ben. Then, you were able to see that your best friend had trouble getting out of the hole. He was about to let go when you caught him with the vision troubled with the blood coming from your eye. After trying for a few minutes, you finally managed to discreetly get Ben out of the hole. You two glanced at Rey, who was trying to talk to the dead Jedis. Suddenly, you heard them, an echo of voices that were talking to Rey. You heard your grandpa, Ben's grandpa, old masters, you grandma, master yoda and even your mom! The dead Jedi were with her. Suddenly, at the end, you heard Luke's voice followed by Allison's. That made you smile. They were here, for her, with her. Rey then stood up, determined to put an end to the Sith Lord's life.
"Let your death be the final words in the story of the Rebellion." Said palpatine, making lightning coming out of his hands again. Rey shielded herself with her lightsaber. Come on Rey, you can do it.
"You are nothing, a scavenger girl is not match for the power in me. I am all the Sith!"
"And I," said Rey making a lightsaber come in her hand, "am all the Jedi." She then took advantage of Palpatine's power to defeat him, destroying all Sith. Ben smiled at you and you smiled softly, tired and in pain. You saw Rey collapse on the floor, she was not moving. You ran to her, tripping, no, you can't be dead, no no no!
You dropped on your knees next to her. Ben following you. Her pulled Rey on his lap.
"I'm going to heal her. She can't die. She's way too young and important." You said huffing. You knew that using your healing power could be critical for you if you were injured, but at this point, you didn't mind. You concentrated of her wound, transferring life to Rey. You felt yourself weakening, but that didn't stop you. After a while, you saw her twitching. You looked at Ben tiredly. It was only then that he noticed your wounds. During that time, Rey got up and saw you. You couldn't stay awake anymore, the pain was excruciating, you needed to sleep.
"Athelleen? Stay awake, no, No stay with me!" Your ears were buzzing, you heard your friends voices in echo. Everything was blurry and then black...
