Chapter 1

~No one POV~

All the 16 students listened to the announcement and went to the gym as told, they all discussed what was going on. Yasuhiro still believed it was a joke or something since this was it a normal high school, it was Hope's Peak Academy, a school for Ultimates.

"Welcome to Hope's Peak Academy!" A voice spoke out loud from the stage, everyone's attention went over to the voice, and a few seconds a half white and half black bear popped up, "What the fuck?!" Mondo yelled. "Mondo, you can't just yell like that! Those words don't belong in the school's environment!" Kiyotaka yelled back at him. "Argh! Just be quiet already!" The bear yelled out loud.

"I am Monokuma, the headmaster of this academy. Upupu.~" The so called headmaster Monokuma laughed in a very weird way. "Well I'll start explaining why ya'll are locked in here."

Everyone looked at each other then they looked at Monokuma. "Very well then. One of all you 16 is a very bad person, and they want you all to start killing each other, and that's the reason you are all here, to kill each other! Isn't that super fun?!" Monokuma laughed out loud.

"Y-you can't be serious, I don't want anybody to die here!" Makoto was trembling, he was at the verge of tears, he looked terrified. Aoi hugged him, "Don't worry Makoto, no one will die here. We are friends and I promise no one will die! Isn't that right Sakura?" A buff girl walked over to them, "That's right. With me here, no one will die."

"You can all leave now! And remember, follow the school regulations!" One by one they left. They could hear Monokuma's annoying laugh.

After some time of exploring they all met in the dining hall at the dorms to discuss what they found. They all sat around the table, Aoi and Sakura was kind and made some tea to everybody. They all took a sip, "This tea is really good!" Makoto said with a smile. "Thanks, Sakura taught me how to make the tea as tasty and good as possible." The atmosphere was friendly and happy, until Byakuya spoke up, "We shouldn't be so friendly with each other, one of us trapped us in this forsaken place." "Who do you think it is?" Mukuro asked him, "It could be anyone. For all we know it could be the nicest or 'sweetest'" He said it in a quite bitter tone as he looked at Chihiro, Makoto, Sayaka and Aoi.

Mukuro agreed with Byakuya on that, "When I was out in war, I've met many people, they pretended to be so nice and innocent, but they were the worst of the worst." The room was filled with silence, "But for all we know Monokuma could be lying to us!" Leon blurted out. "Leon is right! There's no way someone here is a bad guy!" Yasuhiro exclaimed.

As time passed the atmosphere around them became positive again. Byakuya left, he didn't want to be close to this horrid atmosphere, Toko followed him, like she has done before.

"Makoto, can I talk to you alone?" Kyoko asked the cinnamon-roll. "Sure thing Kyoko." He smiled at her, both of them walked out in the hallway, a bit away from the door so no one could hear them. Kyoko looked around making sure no one was close.

"Tell me Makoto, why did you trap us in this school?" She crossed her arms. "W-what gave you that idea?" In Kyoko's side vision she saw the others, she quickly kissed Makoto on the lips, "We'll talk about this later." She quickly left leaving a flustered Makoto. ((Naegiri! Naegiri! Yasss queen!))

"Oh. My. Gosh. Kyoko and Makoto kissed, like, wow. I didn't know you were like, a thing or something." Junko said out loud making sure everybody in the area could hear her. Makoto quickly ran to his room all flustered.

~Kyoko POV~

I arrived at the gym, lucky no one was there. "Why did I kiss him? He is the mastermind." I slapped myself. "Focus Kyoko. You are the Ultimate Detective!" The doors to the gym opened, three people entered, Aoi, Sakura and Chihiro.

"Hey Kyoko, we saw what happened, and there is nothing wrong having a boyfriend." Aoi walked over to me and patted me on the back. "Makoto is not my boyfriend." I said, my voice sounded unintentionally cold. "S-so why did you kiss him?" Chihiro asked. I looked at her, "I kind of just panicked when I saw everybody." I shrugged. "Well don't panic around us then. We were all laughing. "We should probably head back, it's almost nighttime." Sakura uncrossed her arms, we were walking to the dining hall.

"Kyoko! Have you seen Makoto? Our night meeting is about to begin!" Kiyotaka said out loud. I shook my head, "I haven't seen him since I accidently kissed him."

"Shouldn't the Ultimate Detective know where he is?" For some reason Leon sounded pissed. "It's not a detective's work to know where everyone is." I soon left the dining hall and walked to my dorm. Once I turned on the lights, I saw Makoto leaning against the table.

"You wanted to talk right?" He held a sharp knife, I stepped backwards, "So you really are the mastermind who trapped us in here." I didn't know what he was panning so I stepped back every time he stepped towards me, I hit the wall behind me. He was close.

He lifted the knife and stabbed himself in the arm. He screamed in pain, I had gotten his blood on me. I heard the door open and in came Mukuro running to assist Makoto. They got him away from me.

"Kyoko, how could you? I thought we were all friends!" Aoi yelled at me with anger. They all left my dorm, no one asked about my side of the story.

Makoto's intentions were to make it look like I attempted to murder him, but failed. "I have to admit, you are very smart Makoto." I laid down on my bed.

~Aoi POV~

"I can't believe Kyoko tried to kill you Makoto." I handed Makoto a cup of tea. I noticed Byakuya looked at Makoto suspiciously. "Byakuya, you seem quite suspicious of Makoto, care to tell us why?" Sakura looked at Byakuya, he sighed. "I won't tell you worthless peasants anything yet, or maybe never." He quickly left. "It's okay Makoto, me and Sakura will protect you!" Sakura nodded. I felt bad for Makoto, first we got trapped in this school, and on the first night he got stabbed in the arm.

He took a sip of the tea, "Thank you so much, both of you." He looked at me and Sakura with a smile.

*ding dong bing bong* I looked over at the monitor that was hanging on the wall. "Mm, ahem, this is a school announcement. It is now 10 p.m. As such, it is officially nighttime. Soon the doors to the dining hall will be locked, and entry at that point is strictly prohibited. Okay then...sweet dreams, everyone! Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite..." Monokuma's annoying voice rang through the dining hall.

"Let's go back to the dorms." Sakura patted me on the head, I nodded. We started to walk towards the dorms, me and Sakura had Makoto between us. Once we reached his dorm, he thanked us for taking care of him.

I walked with Sakura to her dorm, since I was staying in her room because I was scared.

~Makoto POV~

I was sitting on my bed looking at my stab wound. I'm glad the wound was not too deep. I poked my bandaged wound. "It didn't hurt that much as I thought it would've." I started to take of the bloody bandage. "I wish the Ultimate Nurse was here now." I stared at the wound, I placed two of my fingers on it and slowly opened the wound. "Ahaha hahahahaha!" I laughed like a maniac, I'm so glad the rooms were soundproof.

The secret passage in my room opened. "Makoto, you shouldn't open your wound like that." My accomplice, or should I say my little sister, stepped out from the secret passage of mine. "Don't worry Komaru, the wound isn't that bad." I had to make sure my sister knew I was okay. "I think we might need to stitch it up." She said as she walked over to me. "Wouldn't that be too suspicious?" I asked her. "You're right..." We were both laughing and talking for a while.
