"What's Double Black...?" Uraraka asked, befuddled by the sudden tense silence that'd enveloped the group so suddenly. She leaned from foot to foot, nervously eyeing their surroundings, trying to identify and possible threats nearby. All looked clear, thankfully.

"Double Black is... they're a villain duo from Yokohama. There's no others like them, they're unrivaled on levels of destructive power. They formed three years ago, and since then they've caused a real ruckus in both the hero and villain worlds, they--" midoriya rambled out only frantically, fiddling with his hands. Bakugou slapped his hand over Midoriya's mouth none too kindly, yelling.

"You stupid nobody! Quit acting like a weirdo, knowing all that strange stuff!" Bakugou howled and the green haired boy, who shrunk back slightly and waved his hands around pacifistically, sweat running down his face.

"Wow! You know your stuff, Izukkun! I didn't know you'd know so much about villains! I thought heros were more your thing?" Dazai mused, a bright smile gracing his features, hands clapping together and head tilting slightly.

Midoriya escaped Bakugou's grip, slipping to stand beside Todoroki, who's eyes remained narrowed distrustfully in Dazai's direction, face cold.

"I... well, I've picked up some things about recurring villains through my research on heroes." He muttered, ducking his head down low, trying to avoid making eye contact with Dazai.

"Why are you here?" Todoroki cut to the chase, earning a shocked squawk from Iida who was still trying to maintain a good class image with the boy.

"Oh? What do you mean?" Dazai feigned innocence, locking his fingers together and letting his connected hands fall and rest against his chest.

"You being here at U.A while it's being invaded is no coincidence. It's too convenient, and highly unlikely."

"That--! Those are really steep accusations, Todoroki-kun..." midoriya stuttered, trying to play damage control and placate the two boys. To Dazai's immense surprise, Bakugou had yet to pipe in on the subject.

"But I'm right, aren't I? That this has to do with you?" The bi-colour haired boy returned with full confidence. Dazai's expression fell, the impish grin folding in on itself into a flat look, that of neither pleasure nor anger, a blank slate.

"No, it is no coincidence. They're here because of me." Dazai admitted in a low tone, eyes boring into Todoroki's who's own burned alight.

The boy let out a huff, fire escaping his lips in his fit unrestrained aggression, stepping towards the boy, left side flaring to life, singing his school uniform, the scent of burnt cotton permeating the air.

Iida and Midoriya leapt forward, each grabbing one of Todoroki's arms, hauling backwards and away from the boy, who looked on with disdain.

"Todoroki-kun! You can't--"

"Remember what Aizawa-sensei sai--"

"God dammit! Fucking stop! Icy hot, are you losing it? Or do you not fuckin' pay any attention?!" Bakugou burst, voice echoing throughout the field, startling the squabbling boys, snapping everyone's attention towards him. They blinked owlishly. Bakugou wasn't usually the voice of reason in these situations.

"Aizawa-sensei said that Dazai was in an Eri situation, so maybe their here to kidnap him?" Midoriya murmured, both him and Iida releasing Todoroki when they presumed he'd calmed down enough. They looked to Dazai expectantly, who felt uncharacteristically uncomfortable under the attention.

"Yes, you're correct. A couple of Port Mafia members have went off on their own to aid the League to come here to... retrieve me, I suppose. I never ordered such a thing, nor did Mori." Dazai replied, voice a mere sussuration, unlike its usual tone.
