Chapter 6: Drama

The next day

I woke up calmly to the absence of Joey as I sighed sitting up from the bed my neck as killing me as I got up stretching calmly as I walked to the bathroom getting ready for the day. I yawned walking down the stairs it seems Like Joseph already left but it's fine I simply made a black coffee and I made my way to school I did have a car but I cared more to walk than drive most days so I didn't really mind. I got to school yes it was hot and no I wasn't late. I walked inside seeing Joey and Max already in the cafe with girls and guys hanging all over them as usual. I let out a simply sigh trying to sneak away but it wasn't meant to be as Joey seemed to have an almost supernatural sense of my presence as he walked up behind me while I was trying to be sneaky as he whispered in my ear "Were are you going" I was shaken so bad that I almost hit the ceiling him on the other hand he tried his best not to laugh "It not funny" I said annoyed "If you say so" he said with a smile as he placed his arm around me walking back into the cafe I received jealous glares from all the girls everyone always thought 'Maybe he's dating Maxine..' or 'Maybe he's with the assistant maybe their cheating in Maxine..' trying to figure stuff out like there was anything to figure out.

Later that day we were in free period and I was reading and typing while Maxine walked up and slammed her hand on the table I once again almost shot through the roof "Guy!" She yelled as Joey looked at her "Their having school play we need to join" She said commandingly "Why?" I asked tilting my head as she looked at me "Because It's Romeo And Juliet!"
