I had spent the night looking for him it was late many people were still here I gave up sitting down I took a drink holding my head in my hands as I sighed. I began to tear up as I wiped my face leaning back against the couch in a daze I didn't want to think so much happened in such a short time. I got up as I began to dance in the dense crowd as I laughed and moved and grooved drinking bumping into people and stumbling as I fell into the back family room few people were there as everything stopped he alcohol was figuratively punched out of me in an instant
As I saw Joey on the couch kissing Maxine as he looked at me with unholy fire in his eyes as Maxine was unsure what to do she was out of her mind drunk they both were "Wha do you want" Joey said in a dark tone "Why were you kissing her.." I asked I'm a ever quieting Tone as I back up "Is it your business you decided to kiss carter I don't see why it's an issue" he spoke drunkenly " It-it's.." I sighed "Get it through your fucking head there's no hope for us I'm shitty your shitty I failed I always do " he said getting closer and more aggressive as I pushEd him away "I didn't kiss him he kissed me!" I yelled in tears as the party got silent "I took care of you when no else did I tolerated you and I got you out of your phase I clean up your bottles and swept up the broken glass" I said tearing up "I loved you even when you hit me all the times you hit me drunk agressive depressed I was there because I loved you hoping you felt the same but no you don't" I yelled as he tried to reach out I just ran getting in my car to his screams behind me I drove as fast as I could crying confused angry as I stopped in an old drive in theater crying myself to sleep
The next day I woke up with a phone call "Hello is this Alexander Jacobs?" The women spoke "This is issac" I spoke as she sighed "Your listed as the emergency contact of Joseph Edwards.." she said "yeah..." I said "I'm sorry there's been and accident" "wha-wha" I dropped the phone And at once everything in me broke.
