"Alyssa I have a serious problem. I feel like I can't stay away from Jay." Jenna said to Alyssa the next day of school.
"Why would you say that?" Alyssa asked.
"Because I saw him again yesterday." Jenna replied.
"Where at? " Alyssa looked anxious to know more.
"We met up at the park, by the water fountain. We talked about me being an emo candy cane. "
"Oh fun! Well I wonder where you guys will go tonight. It's Friday! Finally! I wonder if he will take you out tonight! "
"What? No he wouldn't." Jenna responded.
"Maybe. Here he comes right now. Act casual. Alyssa pretended to mess with her hair. Jenna watched her.
"Hey Jenna. Want to hang out later? At the diner around the corner? "Jay asked kind of awkwardly.
"OF COURSE! Jenna screamed " I mean yeah we can." She said. Jay smiled brightly.
"Ok. How's 6?" He asked with a pang of anxiousness.
"6? Perfect time. " Jenna responded.
"OK I'll see you there." And Jay walked away with his hands shoved in his pockets.
