Jenna found herself in the hospital a few weeks later. The nurse comes up to her to explain what happened but all Jenna heard was "....bad..... car hit....." and that was it. Jenna was released the next day to go back to school. People still were upset but not as much. Jenna found Jay and tried to talk to him but he only looked away.
"What's wrong? Talk to me!" Jenna shook his arm.
"You... you said we were over..." Jay looked down.
"Oh come on! I was upset! " Jenna tried to make it a joke.
"Well I'm upset now but I'm not screaming at you for the whole school to hear!" Jay said not much louder than he usually talks.
"Oh so we are over huh? Well fine, I always thought you'd dump me eventually!" Jenna started to scream. Jay stood up and left. "See! There you go! You hate me!" She yelled after Jay. Jays pace quickened until he was running.
