Okame stared out of the window, looking at a pile of bushes, he didn't remember why he was so interested on looking at them. They just fascinated him, in fact, all of nature did. Every animal had their own role in the wild, Okame couldn't help but wonder what his own role was, a punching bag? He refused to accept it. One day, he would venture out into the wilderness.

The pup was so fixated on the outside world that he didn't notice his white half brother, Hato, sneaking up behind him. Hato spring and shoved the navy pup through the window with a snicker. Okame fell into the snow face first, raising his head and shaking his pelt to rid of the snow. Well, I guess that day is today. Okame took one step into the snow, it was cold! Okame tried licking his paw to make it warmer, that just made his tongue cold.

Okame decided to ignore it and move on, he stumbled into a tree stump, bonking his nose. He looked up, the supposed tree stump was Kumo.

"Mr Tree Stump, May you please move?" He asked in a polite voice. Kumo just laughed.

"My name is Kumo, young one." He sniffed Okame, Okame tried to push Kumo's nose away, only for his paws to slip off the wet surface of Kumo's nose and into the snow. Kumo helped the pup up, "where did you come from?" He asked, Okame pointed to the window.

"But I don't want to go back." Okame shook his head, "I'm a wild dog!" He yipped, puffing out his chest.

"You're part wolf as well." Kumo reminded him. Okame didn't bother asking how he knew that,

"I'm a wild wolf!" He smiled, looking up at Kumo. The dark wolf gave a chuckle.

"You're a wolf dog." He corrected, trotting off. Okame followed him and Kumo didn't mind. Okame looked over his shoulder, and the house that he had called home for the past 2 weeks had seemed to have gotten smaller and smaller as he walked away.
