Piper grace williams (born march 20 2001) is an american singer songwriter, who is best known for the fanbase she built up on her youtube channel piperwilliams, where she regularly uploads covers and the occasional original. She has a single 'fade' that was released in february 2020.
EARLY LIFE
Williams was born in the city of san francisco, california to shaun and keirsten williams, who are both doctors. she had discussed briefly on her youtube channel that her parents are no longer together. Williams has no siblings and no known pets.
CAREER
Williams had an early start to music, starting guitar and piano lessons at age five. Sources report she was singing since she could talk, and had always had a lovely and soft voice, which naturally drew many people to her youtube channel.
She began posting covers in late 2017, which gained popularity within the months after her first upload. She occasionally uploads vlogs for her fans, and collaborates with her other youtube friends frequently. She appears in the others vlogs more than they appear in hers, but their fanbase has grown to love the group of teenagers.
She released her first single 'fade' in january 2020
On march 15th, it was announced to the public that Williams had signed with Atlantic records.
PERSONAL LIFE
Williams lived a normal american girl life throughout her childhood. She gained traction through her youtube channel that was created in 2017 and gathered nearly four million subscribers on the platform and nearly a million on instagram. Although she described it as an ongoing battle with her parents, her parents allowed Williams to pack up her bags and move into an apartment in LA with her childhood friends Juno Davenport with Liam Davenport living a short distance away in early august of 2019.
Here, she focused greatly on her song writing and keeping up with her youtube channel, as well as making new friends in the LA area. She quickly became acquainted with the well known model, sayde mills, and fellow youtubers, guinevere carter and fiona keller. The five teenagers pulled in audiences globally as they broadcast their lives on youtube.
Williams is also acquainted with popular alternative indie rock band, glass coast, as the drummer for the band is childhood friend, liam davenport. Although recently liam davenport had been rumored to move in with his fellow bandmates, arlo johnson and Isaiah torres, liam appears on williams snapchat and instagram stories alongside johnson frequently. However, many fans suspect tension between Williams and Torres as they have never been seen on each other's social media or out in public ever.
Willams began openly dating Hayden Bowman, a popular youtuber, in october of 2019. The two have been dating for six months, however, they have rarely been seen on each other's socials as of lately and rumors have been going around the media that the couple split. Neither Williams nor Bowman have confirmed or denied the rumors, but they too did post a little black heart emoji on their instagram and snapchat stories for what fans believe to be their six month.
