   "I can not express how pissed i am Isaiah is going to be here." piper murmured to juno as she punched three solid knocks into the apartment door in front of them
    "I simply do not care, piper." she whispered back between her lips which were formed in a smile, preparing for the smiles and hugs that will greet her at the door as it had been a couple of days since she last saw her brother.
    "But you should. You always shoo him off when we come over here or don't invite him when everyone comes to us." piper whined as she heard shuffling behind the door and a small dog screeching at the visitors.
    "You're under the same label now, be civil bitch-" the door creaking open interrupted what was more than likely going to be an insult and Liam stood behind it, a smile plastered on his face. Juno gave him a quick side hug and then Piper was engulfed by his strong arms in a tight embrace.
    "Congratulations." he sang, twisting the smaller girl back and forth in his arms and shook her lightly.
    "Thanks liam." She chuckled lightly at her friend's enthusiasm and followed the pair of siblings into the living room where fiona, guinevere, sayde and arlo were already sitting. She wondered where Isaiah was, but she didn't let it sit in her mind for too long, for she was satisfied enough that he wasn't there.
    She took a seat next to arlo who quickly repeated liams previous actions and she playfully shoved him off of her and rolled her eyes at all of the attention they were giving her. "Okay okay thank you arlo."
    "We prepared your favorite movie and also made popcorn. I was thinking we could just hang out tonight, keep it lowkey like you like." liam said, taking a seat in a beanbag close to the glass sliding doors that lead to the balcony. She thanked them and her friends struck up a conversation about the label and the boys' experience on it so far.
    liam , arlo and isaiah had been a part of the company since mid 2018 and were really big in the LA area. They started by playing at parties where they were exposed to other artists and people in the music industry and were signed onto atlantic less than a year into their new life in LA. Piper watched as they grew in popularity all over the world, uncovering her love for indie rock music and just indie music in general. The three lived in the large apartment together and went on a short tour from january to the end of february. All of Piper's fans enjoyed seeing the other side of the musicians and definitely gave her a demographic boost.
    Twenty minutes into a pointless conversation Fiona initiated about this girl Arlo began seeing, the sliding glass doors sounded and into the living room strutted isaiah. Piper let out a frustrated sigh, for she knew she would have enjoyed herself more if his presence was gone.
    Everyone greeted him and he greeted back and the two exchanged awkward eye contact and a meaningless hand wave as he sat on the other side of the couch. "So where's the boy?" he questioned and the room went silent, "what, you didn't even invite Hayden to her congratulations 'get together'?" he asked Liam and the tone of his voice infuriated piper.
    "I did, he just didn't respond." liam answered back and piper scoffed in response. Her friends shot her an uncomfortable glare as if saying they weren't surprised.
    "Damn williams what a man you got there." he laughed and Arlo and Liam chimed in along with him, they didn't understand the constant battle between wondering if he really is a piece of shit or if it's just been ingrained into her head by an outsider's perspective. 
    "Thank you." piper simply answered back and fiona quickly changed the subject to ease the awkward tension the filled the room and pipers phone buzzed.
