chapter four

I was on my desk now. I couldn't stop thinking about how that man became my boss. I mean how could he even.........

"Miss Davies, Mr Asher would like to see you in his office now". A lady cut into my thoughts.

Did she just say he wants to see me in his office, oh no I don't want any trouble on my first day of work oh lord please save me.

"O-ok". I said.
I was followed by the lady to his office she insisted. She stopped when we reached the door. I decided to knock and that deep voice answered.
"come in"

I stepped into the office it was no longer all black and white the office had changed completely. In fact it looked bigger I think they broke a couple of walls to make it bigger. It was just beautiful. The walls were even repainted, even the tables chairs and everything else was different, good different.

I saw him fidgeting with his pen. I wondered why he called me but what ever the reason was, it wasn't going to be good.

"Miss Davies please have your seat I don't have much time to waste but if you want to stand there starring at me you could also do that". That manly voice woke me up from my thoughts.

"y-yes s-sir". My God I hate this man and I'll do anything absolutely anything to wipe that smirk off his face.

"miss Davies I know you have so many questions that needs so many answers but let me answer your first question which is how I'm I your new boss".

What, how did he. I don't understand this but all I know is this man has issues he has to solve.

He started his flash back

Ryan:
Mr Oscar listen to me I know where all your loved ones are and I promise that I can take them far far away from you if you don't do as I say.

Oscar:
But Ryan I can't just let you run my business it is my source of income and joy.

Ryan:
You and your lovely wife will go on a vacation for two months or less. you will be back and I'll be out of your life just do as I say and you will be safe.

Oscar:
But what if I don't ?

Ryan:
Then your business, money, fame and family will be dragged into the mud.

Oscar:
That won't be necessary, OK, but I warn you it is a lot to handle.

Ryan:
Ha, alot to handle, I run 21,505 companies around the world just running one extra won't be a problem. 

I looked at him very strangely because I wonder why he is telling me this. I have so much work to do on my desk and he is wasting my time.

"Miss Davies I know what you're thinking, but I want you to be aware of the fact that your days in this office won't be as easy as you think".

What the hell, how does this affect me and why I'm I still here.oh he is my boss. But still he is just for some days or weeks or months or maybe a year😭 but I will still make sure he doesn't ruin my dream job besides, I'm jasmine, if I could grow up without a father then this won't be hard.

I saw him bringing out multiples of documents on the table.just after that he said.

"miss Davies I'm new to this sector so you will have to do all my work. I need this read, copied and filed by the end of this week which is the day after tomorrow so you have to get started you are supposed to make a presentation on it".

What! He wants me to do his work with mine. what the hell. Who does he think he is. Oh my boss but still how can he.

I couldn't think any more, all I wanted to do rip him into a million pieces and still cut his fingers.

But just keep calm all you have to do is read, copy and file. its not so hard.

"miss davies" he brought me out of my thoughts.

"Yes sir. I'll be on my way". I stood up quickly, picked the documents on the table and started leaving.

"And don't forget to shred the documents with the blue folder its not that important but the rest are". He kind of yelled when I was half leaving the room.

I was on my desk now. I don't know where to start. I thought of shredding the document with the red folder but I noticed that there were three documents with red folders.

Oh my God he purposely did this. I feel like destroying and tearing down his companies one by one.

A lady approached me with two cups of coffee. She handed one cup to me and introduced herself.
" hi I'm Mandy, action department. You are"

I collected the coffee from her then said
"Thank you, I'm jasmine".

" I can see you  are really stressed out, what's wrong?"she asked

"Emm... Nothing. But I do have a question though. Do you know anything about the blue files and which one is more important". I said showing her the files on the desk.

"Emm... Yes, show me". She examined the files and then said. "Yes, Oscar was talking about some blue files with me he said none of them were important and that I should shred the files, but I decided to leave them there because I was real busy".

What, that man is such a jerk he purposely did this but you know what I'm smarter than him, I'll show him.

" that's a lot of files you got there what are you doing with it " she again cut into my thoughts

"Well Mr Asher said I should read, copy and file them". I said looking at her.

But I noticed she was looking at the files in a funny way. Then she answered my thoughts.

"Girrrl those files are not important why will he ask you to read, copy and file them".

I couldn't hold it any more is I just said. "That man is soooooo stupid he is, he is......."

"Annoying, bossy, disgusting and irritating. Is that what you meant to say miss Davies".

I recognise that voice anywhere.
He heard me, I'm done for soooooo done for. What am I going to do. This is the right time for the earth to swallow me. Just swallow me already, what are you waiting for. ------------------------------------------------------
