The Day After

The young Gryffindors eyes slowly fluttered open to an unfamiliar looking room.

Hermione rolled over to only be shocked by Draco lying fast asleep next to her.

"Shit..."

She swore under her breath slowly climbing out of the bed as quietly as possible.

I mean... He is cute when he is sleeping...

WAIT HERMIONE WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!!

She made it to the door before someone caught her eyes... Something that looked like her underwear...

"Fuck"

Hermione swore louder that she meant to, was she naked... She looked down before panicking and quickly grabbing a blanket off the floor.

"Granger... where are you... oh..."

Hermione turned around to see to her disappointment that she had woken up Draco.

"I emmm... I need to get to work... speak about it later-"

Hermione quickly put on her clothes before walking out of the room in a rush.

"-but you don't have work till-"

"I gotta go Draco"

Hermione grabbed her belongings before apparating out of Draco's apartment.

"So your telling me you-"

" Yes I know it's a mess, but Ginny, please can I stay at yours and Harry's for a bit, just till I manage to get my life back on track"

The two witches sat at a popular Muggle cafe having coffee discussing Hermione somewhat eventful night.

"What, you want to deal with the terror of James, keeping you awake all night"

"Honestly Ginny, I wouldn't even mind, if you and Harry ever wanted a night to yourself you know I would even babysit for you"

Hermione took a sip of her coffee as Ginny thought. She had lied about work to Draco earlier that day, she just was shocked, she didn't really expect to have feeling for the Ferret, and especially not wake up beside him. In fact today was actually her day of work.

"I'll have to see what Harry thinks but it's fine with me."

Ginny slowly rocked the pram beside her back and fourth with a sleepy James in it.

"Here, why don't I take him on a walk"

"Ok, thank you Hermione"

The platinum blonde healer rushed through the corridors of St.Mungos taking notes of patients.

He had secretly been hoping there would be something happen with Mathew so he could see Hermione again. Speak to her about last night.

"Dr. Malfoy, you are needed in room 143"

"I'll be there"

This was just one of many cases a day Draco had to deal with.

He quickly made his way to the room to meet his friend Blaise sitting on a chair with a broken leg.

"Hello mate "

Blaise half laughed before wincing in pain.

"What did you do this time"

"Well I was at one of my gigs... You know singing having a good time then I climbed up onto the bar... And well we all know what happened after that... I fell down and broke my leg-"

Blaise motioned to his leg.

"Here take this, of course well need to monitor you overnight but you should be fine in the morning."

In one swift movement Draco handed Blaise a dose of skelle-grow.

"Dr. Malfoy, if you not to busy your parents would like to speak to you."

A nurse quickly popped her head into the room and smiled before leaving again.

"Well, that's me having to go... Blaise don't do anything stupid, I will be back quickly "

Draco left the room in a rush, what did his parents want this time...
