Back At The Apartment

"WILL YOU TWO SHUT IT!"

Hermione shouted a bit louder than she had meant, sadly she had ended up with the bedroom right beside Blaise and Pansy's...

She didn't think anymore about it than she had to.

"Hermione...? How do you work this Muggle thing... It's called a... Toaster?"

Draco walked into her doorway holding a toaster in one hand scratching his head with another.

"Ughhh seriously, how have you gone this long without knowing how to work a toaster!"

Hermione laughed taking it from Draco and bring it to the kitchen where she plugged it into the socket in the wall.

"Firsttt, you get your bread"

Hermione picked up two slices of bread and handed them to Draco.

"Ughhh, I know that, but like... How? How does this contraption work?"

"Let me finish my sentence! Ok, then you put your bread in the toaster and press this button here..."

Hermione let Draco put them in and then pressed the button for him.

"And then you wait"

"Wait! How long...! How do I know when it's ready!!?"

Draco panicked looking at the toaster confused a million questions running through his brain... Why where muggles so confusing.

"Just wait till it pops"

"Oh... Ok"

Hermione made her way over to the couch rolling her eyes leaving Draco standing excitedly staring at the toaster.

"Hermione I think it's ready!"

Draco jumped around, it was an odd sight really, he looked like a small child who's parents just got him a new toy.

"Well... Has it popped?"

Draco looked down at it carefully inspecting them, they had popped out of the toaster was his final conclusion.

He quickly picked them out and then buttered them.

"Thank you for that!"

Hermione laughed stealing one piece of buttered toast and running to her room.

"That was mineeee!"

Draco laughed running after her.

"Not anymore!"

Hermione took a bite as she was extremely hungry and needed to eat something.

"I'm coming to get you!!"

Soon Draco found himself running into Hermione's room and crashing right into her.

"AHHHH"

Hermione quickly slipped and found herself being caught by Draco.

Ahhh... He looks so much cuter close up... I just want to... Hermione what are you thinking!

Draco and Hermione's faces where mere inches apart.

"Can I have my toast back?"

"I already ate it"

Hermione giggled. There was no reply from Draco. He just leaned in and kissed her lightly on the lips.

Hermione kissed back but then pulled away.

"Draco... This isn't right... Your engaged"

"Neither of us actually want to marry each other though..."

"Still... It just doesn't feel right..."

Hermione sat down on her bed running her hands through her hair.

"I know... I'm sorry "

Draco hugged her sitting down beside her. The two sat in silence for the rest of the evening.

"So... How have you been feeling anyway?"

Draco asked trying to break the awkward silence.

"Good I guess... Well most of the time and them I throw and feel sick a bit sometimes... I guess I have got a cold or something..."

"Well... If it gets worse you can come to healer Malfoy"

Draco laughed.

"Healer Malfoy..."

Hermione pushed him playfully.

"Seriously?!"

"Well..."

"Just don't... I don't need to hear any more about this healer Malfoy"

Hermione sat back in her bed leaning against the pillow.

"I'm going to see my parents tomorrow.. "

Draco announced causing Hermione to he uncertain about what to say next.

"O-oh, well emm..."

"It's fine Hermione... Honestly"

"Ok, well if you need saving you could always ask me to help "

Hermione giggled before suddenly getting very serious.

"Oh no I think I'm going t-"

Hermione quickly ran off to the backroom with Draco following quickly behind her.

"Are you sure you ok?"

Draco held her hair back for her as Hermione threw up again.

"Y-yeh... Just a cold or something... Nothing to worry about"

Hermione smiled getting up and washing her face and hands.

"Thank you Draco"

Hermione smiled before making her way to her bed room.
