That Night

A couple of hours later and Hermione had managed to get herself a room in the leaky cauldron for a few days till she managed to sell her house.

Currently the you witch was sat in her office surrounded by her pile of books reading through them trying to find something... Even a hint about what curse or what spell had been cast on Mathew.

She had never seen anything like it.

" Hermione, give yourself a break, go home"

Harry stood in the corner of her office, a bag under his arm and his usual cup of coffee which he was almost never seen without.

"I don't have a home right now, I need something to distract myself Harry... do you not remember the part where I told you my whole life is falling apart right now"

She sighed throwing her pen down in frustration. Her life was a mess and she had no one really to talk to it about.

" I give up "

Hermione cried out bursting into tears. She tried to hide her face as much as possible from Harry. She hated when her friend saw her crying.

"Hermione, you need a break, come home to mine and you can talk to Ginny"

Hermione smiled and shook her head declining the offer knowing she had a room at the leaky cauldron with all of her belongings in it.

"N-no it's ok"

Hermione stuttered a bit putting on a fake smile. She didn't want to burden her friend with any of her problems.

"Go home Harry, I'm fine, honestly"

Hermione quickly grabbed her bag heading out the door after Harry.

She quickly hurried through the corridors of the minestry and out the doors.

It was normally her favourite thing to walk home after work but today it wasn't. She tried to block out all the thoughts she had about Ron. How he was horrible and mean.

She just had to ignore them.

"Get yourself together Hermione"

She muttered under her breath.

Because Hermione was so distracted she did not notice the young healer that she was heading straight towards.

"Watch where your goi-... shit"

Draco mumbled once again for the second time that week as Hermione fell to the ground Infront of him.

"Oh, malfoy Im so sorry... I wasn't paying attention it's my fault "

Hermione blushed as she stood herself up. How could she be so clumsy.

"It's fine, honestly, as long as I don't have to deal with you having a concussion or something from running into people all the time Granger "

Draco half laughing picking up a piece of paper and handing it to her.

"Where are you going anyway, I thought your house was in the other direction"

"It is-... Well was... I'm selling it "

Hermione looked at the ground not really wanting to show how much she was blushing, she was so embarrassed.

"Anyway... I'm going to the leaky cauldron"

She quickly gathered up the rest of her things before walking in the opposite detection.

"Eh Granger... "

Draco laughed at her, she was heading in the completely wrong direction.

"The leaky cauldron is that way I think"

He pointed her in the right direction.

"Thanks... Malfoy"

She walked away feeling slightly embarrassed. But she also felt something else that she wasn't quite sure what is was.
