Hopelessness

~Chapter 3~

"What are you talking about," I spit out nervously. I was fine. I told myself there was no reason to freak out. My breathing started to quicken, and it started to feel hot. Like really hot. Then a sharp pain erupted in my right side right below my boob.

"Hey are you okay," Nicolas said. Everything was blurry and all I could feel is a burning sensation throughout my back and side. The room started to darken and spin, like I went in too many circles.

"Don't take me home," I said while the room started to darken. All I could do is put my hope into this man's hands.

It was dark. I was walking through the door of my house. I hear something in the kitchen. I walk slowly toward the kitchen to see who is in the house.

It was my mom, my dead mom.

I feel tears running down my face, I was confused, happy but confused. I didn't know weather or not to call for her. I missed her so much.

"Mom, I missed you, what are you doing here?" my mom turned around at the sound of my voice. She looked at me and smiled.

"You turned out beautiful," she sighed with a look of apprehension on her face "Just like your father."

My father, why would she bring him up? He left us to live on with his new family. He abandoned me when I needed someone to talk to, when I wanted to be a daddy's girl.

I'm alone in this world. My mom is dead, my dad is gone living it up high and mighty somewhere, maybe I just wanted to feel loved. Not alone or fucking neglected.

"Alexis sweetie, you're going to go through some changes, and I wish I could be there for you but I can't, you being here is enough to know that your powers have started to come out," she said moving around our kitchen island to grasp my hands.

" You will be able to see better, hear better, be stronger than any other wolf, you will also have powers that know one else has," I had know idea what she was talking about, powers. Wolf?! Is this a fucking prank like I have been good, and done everything I could to find out who I was without proper parents guiding me.

" He didn't want to leave sweetie he had to or the hunters would have got him.He loves you sweetie, so much. Your alpha marks have been branded on your body, we are usually born with them but I had a witch suppress all werewolf traces long ago, you were supposed to change when you turned 6 like your twin brother did but you had the white wolf gene. You can't let anyone know this is serious information, and if it gets into the wrong hands you could die."

Death? I could die if I told someone that I was a wolf? I don't understand, changes? Like wolfly changes where I grow a snout and fur? This is all so confusing, I don't understand what is going on. I don't know what is happening.

" My time has run out my child you may see me again, you may not, but instead of saying goodbye I will wish you farewell. And children stop stressing, get some dick maybe it's good for you and cures eternal sadness," She laughs the laugh that reminds me of my great childhood and then she fades away.

I'm left confused and happy and sad and I realize just how I am, forever.

Nick's Pov

She collapsed quickly, her glasses almost falling off of her face again. I use my inhuman speed to get to her before hitting the ground. I cradled her in my eyes and remember the words she said.

"Don't take me home,"

If I'm not supposed to take her home then where am I supposed to take her. I sigh as I figure out what to do. As I'm working out a plan I look at her, Alexis. Is what I got from our teacher.

She starts to whimper in my arms and her temperature is rising dramatically high. I have to take her to the pack doctor. The pack is a little way from here I hope that she can get through. I run through the empty hallways at a normal pace for a human.

I'm happy I brought my car instead of my motorcycle today. I run out into the parking lot to see my matte black Audi S5. I put her gently in the back seat of the car, and went around to the front and opened the door, got in and started the car and gently drove away.

Since I was out of pack territory I have no access to the mindlink. This was a drag, I was taking a random girl that I barely even knew to the pack house. She smelled human and I was still taking her. I have to be out of my mind.

I crossed over into pack territory and immediately mindlinked the pack doctor

Gloria I need you at the Hospital immediately
