I'm not sorry

*BOOM*
The fireworks started and from the corner of my eye, I had seen Semi's mouth open and say something, but I couldn't hear him.
The fireworks were too loud and he was talking so quietly. I looked over at him and asked, "What did you say SemiSemi? I couldn't hear you?"
Semi just sighed while looking up at the sky, watching the colors dance in the air. "I didn't say anything, so just watch the fireworks okay?" he replied in a rather exasperated tone.
I almost felt bad for not being able to hear him, but it wasn't my fault he was talking so low. I looked back up to the sky.
I watched as the fireworks went off, one after another after another. They were so mesmerizing. So vivid and full of life even.
They made the night sky light up brighter than any star could. I felt at ease as I watched them go off.
"Take a picture. It'll last longer," Semi said with a sorrowful tone not daring to look away from the sky.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket not looking away from the beautiful scenery and opened my camera. I got up and moved back further behind Semi.
I moved directly behind him, positioning my phone so he was the focal point of the photo with the fireworks in the background. I took a photo of his back facing the camera as he looked up into the night sky observing the light show up above. It was a gorgeous photo.
'He was right, it will last longer.'
This is basically the photo you took of him
The fireworks soon ended and we all got up off of the grass and gathered our belongings. We made our way out of the fair and back to campus where we would then settle down for the night after our day of excitement.
"I hope everyone had fun," I said while looking at the ground, smiling to myself while I replayed today's events in my head.
Everyone just nodded while we all walked home in comfortable silence. Julia and Toshi were holding hands as we walked while Yamagata and Haos were close to each other as well.
Usually, I would be walking next to Semi, however this time, he was up in the front of the group while I was lagging in the back.
'I wonder if he's upset about earlier,' I thought to myself while I took a strand of my H/C hair and started playing with it.
I understood that I had feelings for the blonde boy, or at least I'm pretty sure I did, but I still don't know if I'm ready to get involved in another relationship yet.
Especially with someone so similar, so perfect and an all-around amazing guy. I still needed some time. Just, a bit more time.
I was so enveloped in my thoughts that I didn't notice my group was nowhere to be seen. "Guys?" I called out, but nobody responded. 'Shit.' I pulled out my phone only to see it was dead.
"Well, isn't that dandy?" I let out a long sigh as I slid my phone back into my pocket while I continued walking back to school.Or at least I tried too.
