Jaiden POV: Oh my gosh, I feel so bad. I just friend zoned James! I like him as a friend, and maybe a little more than that, but I just need some time to sort out my feelings about him. But the voices started talking again.

"He's just using you for fame." "See? No one can love you, you're too ugly." "You don't deserve to live. You should cut your wrists." I broke down, cried, and ran to the bathroom with a knife. I started slicing my arm and sobbing. I heard someone pound on the door.

"Jaiden? Jaiden!" James was outside. He tried to open the door. He yelled, "Alex, I need the keys to the bathroom, and fast! I think Jaiden's cutting herself!" I heard the lock click, and Alex and James burst into the room.

Alex grabbed the knife from me, and James wrapped up all my cuts. He walked me out of the room and set me in bed. His eyes were puffy. He had clearly been crying. He said, "Promise me you will never do this again. It hurts me to see you cut yourself." I agreed, and he left. That's when I realized I love him too.

James POV: I heard someone else crying too. Was it Jaiden? I stopped and listened. I heard it get louder and softer, like... like someone was cutting her. I ran across the hall and knocked as hard as I could on the bathroom door.

"Jaiden? Jaiden!" She wasn't answering. The door was locked. I yelled, "Alex, I need the keys to the bathroom, and fast! I think Jaiden's cutting herself!" He came sprinting down the hall with the keys. He opened the door, and Jaiden was sitting on the floor with a knife.

Alex grabbed the knife, and I grabbed some gauze and tape to start wrapping up her cuts. I walked her to her bed and made her promise never to do it again. I walked back to my room, worrying about Jaiden.

I didn't sleep at all that night, and when it was morning, I went and got two coffees from the closest Starbucks, one for me and one for Jaiden. I knew she hadn't' slept, since she had spent the whole night crying. I softly knocked on her bedroom door.

She came out in her purple pajamas. "James? Are you okay," she asked. "I'm fine," I replied. "I got us some coffee. Do you want to go watch the sunrise?" "Sure," she said. We walked out to the porch swing on the back deck and until Dom called us to breakfast, we sipped our coffee and sat next to each other, not saying a word.
