I wiped off the sweat that was on my forehead and pulled on my shoes and zipped up my jacket. As I walked out of the ATA the lights turned off.
"See you tomorrow Zed." I waved to the guy who ran the training center. I began to jog down the road and head home.
I slowly opened the front door without making any noise. My brother was probably out getting wasted at the old farm and mom was probably asleep. I ran up the stairs and opened my bedroom. I entered my bathroom and stipped down naked. I hopped in the now hot shower. Once I had cleaned up I pulled out a pair of sweats, a t-shirt and a sweater from my walk-in closet. I got changed and put my long blonde hair into a neat bun. I opened my window and climbed up the rope ladder connecting to the roof of our house. I hopped on the roof and opened the wooden closet to retrieve a mattress, a blanket and some fuzzy socks. I laid the mattress down under the tent like structure and pulled on the socks. I laid down on the mattress and pulled the blanket over my body. I didn't feel like sleeping on my bed tonight. "Good night dad..."
