The sun Shone bright in my face. I put the mattress and blanket away and climbed down the rope to my bedroom. I jumped through the window. I looked at the clock and it was only 5:oo am. I took a shower then pulled on my school uniform. My bag was packed with the school book that I would need for my classes today. I slung my bag over my shoulder and walked into the kitchen. I pulled out some suko juice from the fridge and poured it into a glass. I grabbed a slice of leipä bread and toasted it. I ate the toast and drank the juice. once I had brushed my teeth I pulled on my boots, strapped on my electro-watch and walked out the door.

"Hey you're that sassy girl from the ATA." spoke a male voice from behind me as I entered my first period class.
"Oh and you're that annoying dude." I huffed. He laughed and took a seat behind me.
"Good morning class. Today we have a new student. He moved from the south of L.A. when the bombings occurred. Please give a warm welcome to Jhol Indartsu." said the teacher.
"Welcome Jhol." The class spoke in unison.
"I will now proceed to take roll call. Nivia Zafiro?"
"Here" I responded.
"Nicole Xoet?"
"Here." Called out my best friend.
"Rio Windslow?"
"Here"
"Jane Vinny?"
"Here"
The teacher proceeded to continue down the list.
