TIMOTHÈE sauntered down the spiral stairs, his soft green hazel eyes carefully scanning the area. Although everyone was wearing masks, he could recognize his older sister's scumbag ex-boyfriend anywhere. Ever since the day Sebastian broke her heart, Timothée has lost all respect and love for Sebastian.

"There you are Timothée!" he heard Keanu announce loudly. Timothée turned to see the black haired male approaching with him with a bright smile. "Were you able to find Evie?"

"Sebastian is here," timothée blurted, taking by Keanu by surprise. "I'm going to find him and tell him to leave. Why is he here in the first place?"

"I swear to you I didn't invite him," keanu promised, throwing his hands up in the air as if he was getting arrested. "I hate him just as much as you do."

Timothée huffed and turned around, looking closely at the people as he passed by them. He reached the punch table where he immediately recognized the ex-lover of his sister. Timothée narrowed his eyes at Sebastian, the anger boiling up inside of him. Keanu wasn't hesitant and brushed past Timothée to march straight up toward Sebastian.

"Hey! Why the hell are you here?" keanu called out, catching Sebastian's attention. Keanu ripped off his mask and tossed it onto the table. Timothée wasn't short to join Keanu on the little interrogation. "I didn't even give you an invite!"

"Look man, I just want to talk to Evie," sebastian admitted. "I need to straighten up some things an—"

"Evie doesn't want anything to do with you anymore dude," timothée claimed. "I think it would be the best if you left."

"Timothée whatever happened to always helping each other out?"

Timothée clenched his jaw and sternly looked at Sebastian. "You hurt my sister Sebastian. You hurt Evie, you hurt me."

Sebastian lowered his eyes to the floor as Timothée stormed off the other way, leaving him alone with Keanu. As Sebastian watched Timothée walk away, he noticed the recognizable figure of Evie walking down the spiral stairs. Sebastian instantly sped off toward the stairs, calling out her name. Evie made it to the bottom of the stairs and saw Sebastian rushing up toward her.

Her large brown eyes widened and she began to back away from Sebastian who kept approaching her. Little did she know, the chef with Timothée's birthday cake was making his way around the corner with the candles burning brighter than ever. Sebastian wasn't aware of the situation until Evie suddenly collided with the flaming birthday cake. The chef shrieked along with Evie as she went toppling straight down onto the cake.

Sebastian gasped as he watched her cry out in severe pain as the burning candles scorched through her dress. She instantly rolled over, revealing all the burns on her back. Sebastian inhaled sharply at the cruel sight. Keanu shoved Sebastian to the side as he went running into the scene, joining a group of people who were trying to help Evie. Timothée was too busy with splashing water and applying ice on his sister to worry about Sebastian.

Sebastian knew that he was the last person she probably would want to see, so he did everyone else a favor and left. He thought he would leave with the forgiveness of Evie, but instead, he left feeling worse than he did before.
