"Where should we start?" Jin Ling asked. They were inside SiZhui's room. Down the main hall, next to the dormitory* there were set rooms for the students. Most shared or had a roommate. Sizhui was roomed with JingYi. Jin Ling has been there before and but never to work on anything.
*The Dormitory was only used for visiting disciples from other sects*
"I don't know. We asked everyone if a random struck of luck happened, but it came out empty," SiZhui sat on the table frustrated. Equally Jin Ling sat on the other side.
"Did anything surprisingly bad happen?" Jin Ling asked.
       "No,"
"Any witnesses of a random book?"
       "No,"
"Any solid information of where it could be found?"
"No!" Sizhui laid his head on the table. "This is hopeless," he mumbled.
"Are you sure you asked everybody?" Jin Ling asked.
"Yes! From everyone I could get a hold of!" Sizhui felt as if his head was going to pop off.

"Do you wanna go outside to get some fresh air?" Jin Ling suggested. He nodded.
Sizhui, with his head still on the table, raised his hand. "Drag me," he commanded.
"Are you out of your mind!?" Jin Ling huffed. "No! I'm not gonna drag a lifeless body."
Sizhui looked up at him and pouted. He looked at Jin Ling with puppy eyes as he sulked. Jin Ling rolled his eyes.
       "FINE!"

After much difficulty he got Sizhui outside on the Black Mountain near the bunnies and Little Apple. When they got there they found out they weren't alone.
A little girl, looked about 16 was sitting on the grass with lettuce for the bunnies. She also had on the uniformed dress that Sizhui was wearing.
"Oh hey!" Jin Ling waves to her. "A little help here!" He carried SiZhui on his back. Well, 'was'. SiZhui got off of him and stood beside Jin Ling when he didn't realize, making him look like an idiot.

The little girl didn't seem like she wanted to talk. She hid closer to the bunnies and ground pretending not to realize them.
"Hey! It's a bit rude to ignore a person!" Jin Ling cried. Sizhui tapped him on his shoulder to signal him to stop.
"It's fine she probably shy, we can't talk to females anyways," he whispered. Despite being told not to, Jin Ling walked up to her.
He sat next to her hopefully starting a conversation, but the air was so thick you could slice through it. She scooted over to give more space between them.

"Hello, Sorry if my friend scared you." Sizhui hesitated. Knowing fully well that he could get in trouble for talking to a girl.
"My names, Lan Sizhui." He pointed to Jin Ling, "And this is Jin RuLan.*" He say besides Jin Ling making a circle of three.
*RuLan: his courtesy name! Used for introduction and some friends. Basically like a nickname.*

"Hi, my name's Lan BiYu*. Nice to meet you," She started to warm up. Her voice was sweet and she talked quietly.
*BiYu: it means Jasper. I quite like it!*
"How old are you?"
"A-Ling! It's never nice to ask that!"
BiYu giggled quietly. The boys were stunned.
"Oh! Sorry!" She whispered. "I just think it's funny to see you so close."
"Funny isn't a word I would but it," Jin Ling whined.

"I'm turning 18 soon," BiYu said. Jin Ling jump up.
"No way? You don't look like the same age as me."
"I get that a lot." She smiled.
"Am I the only old one here?" Sizhui asked. Feeling left out of the group.
"No, how old are you?"
"Turning 19 in a week or so."
"That's not old at all! I think that's wonderful it just means you're more mature." BiYu said and she clapped her hands together. She tried to cheer him up.

"You looked sad earlier. What happened?" She asked. SiZhui's face turned red.
"I thought you wouldn't notice." Sizhui mumbled.
"What were you sulking for? Is it an issue I can help with?" She asked.
"Well depends, do you know of any sort of luck a random person has out of no where?" Jin Ling asked.

"Actually yes, I do." She said, "If it may help, a poor man went out on a trip to find a job but he came back with more gold then ever!"
"Where did you learn about that?" Sizhui asked.
"I guess you could say the sect is a lot looser about rule in the female section." BiYu gave some lettuce to the bunny sitting in her lap. "I over hear a lot of things in the bath house."
"Who is the poor man?" Jin Ling asked.
"Wang LiWei, he's supposedly around 30," She kept petting the bunnies
       "Wang?* That's kinda ironic."
*Wang: means king/emperor in Chinese. It's commonly used and social acceptable but pretend it isn't T~T*
"Yeah I guess, but he did end up rich," Sizhui said. "So I guess it did work out."

"You can probably meet him. He spends his days drinking or at a restaurant with friends."BiYu picked the bunny off her lap.
"Anyways I'll be going now. I'll be late," She patted off her dress.
"Thanks have a good day!" Sizhui exclaimed. She quickly left and hurried along, probably to her next class.
"I guess we have our lead then. Maybe dragging you out in this places wasn't that bad." Jin Ling exclaimed. He got off the ground also.

"Sizhui, now that she said it, why are you do comfortable around me?"
Sizhui got up also, "I don't know" he answered. "I guess it's probably because I known you for a long time."
"But didn't you know JingYi longer?"
"I relate to you more than JingYi."
"What do you mean?"
"I never knew my real parents." Sizhui stopped as he could feel the mood get heavier. "And I feel left out most of the time. I know I hang around a lot of disciples but it's mostly for missions."

"And hanging out with you makes me forget about that." Jin Ling hugged Sizhui which gave him a shock. SiZhui never had much physical contact and would try to avoid it. But Jin Ling's hug felt nice.
Jin ling backed away from him after a while. Sizhui seemed upset about it but hid the fact from him.
"We should get going."

"What do you mean no!?" Jin Ling yelled. They were at a restaurant which they found Wang LiWei eating lunch with his friends.
"No is no! I'm not gonna *blup* tell you how I got this! *blup*" He waved a bag of money round. He smelt of alcohol and was clearly drunk.
"Are you already drunk? This early?" Jin ling asked. "Have a sense of self control."
"A-Ling please sit down." Sizhui pulled him into his seat.
"Master Wang, we're trying to ask if you may have used a book of some kind." Sizhui asked nicely but he refused to corporate.

"I don't care! I'm not telling you so you and your dirty *blup* friends can get all the money! Don't you have *blup* enough!" He swung around another cup round his friends for another round.
         "Cheers!" They all said.
"A-yuan lets go!" Jin Ling grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the restaurant.
"Hey wait!" Sizhui tried to object but Jin Ling refused to let go until they were outside.

"That was our only lead! What are we gonna do now!" Sizhui argued.
"What? Try and reason with a drunk man? Not gonna happen." Jin Ling protested.
"But we really can't fine anything else," Sizhui said. Jin Ling shook his head.
"No, I'm going to keep looking for other leads. I'll see you later!" He said. "He might have just found it in a rich man's grave when he was drunk!" Jin Ling stomped off.

'Great!' Sizhui thought 'I'm alone now,' He walked around the streets to hear some luck but to no avail. Knowing fully well Jin Ling was right, and there was nothing he could do.
'Damn it! I should have just followed him!' Sizhui thought. He smacked his head over and over again.
