Jess was still seated on the sidewalk oblivious of the people staring at her and taking pictures of her. The man in suit was trying to shoo the small crowd that was forming. Jess didn't understand what the fuss was all about. A sleek car pulled up and a beautiful brunette got out. She was somewhat familiar to Jessica. The lady went straight to the man and was definitely faking anger. The man raised his hands in surrender.

" Should I shoot you Spencer? How the hell did this happen under your watch? She was nearly run over mister! What if Tony hadn't sent me and instead showed up?"

"I can explain--"

" Don't even, Spence." The lady cut him short and crouched next to Jess. " How's you doing sweetie?"

" She's quite alright just a scratch."

" Spencer, just head back to the office before I do something to you."

Spencer gave up and walked away after an endless string of apologies and got into a car then drove away. The lady helped her stand up and that's when Jess noticed she was at the airport! The lady opened her car's boot and put Jess's  too many bags inside.

" You going to stand there till tomorrow hun?"

Jess only knew of one person in her life who called her hun. Okay, at least before she blinked her eyes to find out ten years had passed already. Only Sam called her that. Only Samantha Johnson.

" Sam...?"

" Yes, hun, it's me. I thought you'd not recognize me, Spencer said you fell really hard. Come here give me a hug."

Jess felt nice to at least see a familiar face after so much confusion. She let Sam hug her for too long though she was literally suffocating! When Sam let her go, she was out of breath and Sam noticed and laughed.

" Sorry sweetie, I just missed you so much. Let's head home before someone recognizes you. How was your flight anyways?Did you buy me the perfume you promised? Please tell me you have the Chanel perfume you promised...?"

Jess was getting confused by the minute. What perfume? And where was she flying from again? Before she could open her mouth to speak, her phone rang. Thank heavens! Bless you whoever's calling! She checked the screen to see who was calling. Chad! Wait, what? Chad? Chad the bum?

" Who is it? Is it prince charming...?"

" Chad."

Sam hit the breaks suddenly and almost sent Jess flying through the windscreen were it not for the seat belt.

"What the hell does that scoundrel want?"

" I dunno Sam."

"Well, are you going to answer the phone? Did he know you were coming today?"

" Sam, I dunno."

" What do you mean you don't know? Give me that!" She said snatching the phone.

"What Chad?! She doesn't want to talk to you okay?... Just you shut up! You really expected to pick her from the airport? As who? She's getting married and maybe then you'll accept you wasted your chance with a nice lady! ...You know what? I'm not having this conversation with you, you dimwit ! Do whatever you want."

Jessica just stared at Sam in awe. That was... intense. Sam ignored the look Jess gave her and continued to drive.

"Why did you have to do that? That was very rude and unnecessary Sam!"

" Look sweetheart, I'm not going to let that man ruin you anymore. Don't you think he's done enough harm to you already? Sophie needs you hun, and you should be a strong woman for her. And that means no more idiot-Chad. You have Tony, hun."
