It all started when I would get asked who my celebrity crush was at every interview and I would always say "Demi Lovato". I admit I'm a Lovatic. Her music is really moving and well she is hot and only a year older than me. She was that one girl who I never thought I'd even get know. Fans started to go crazy with the thought of me and Demi. They'd ask her at sound checks about me and interviewers would ask her what she thought about my crush. The lads would show me these all the time and tease me but little did they know that those fans were the reason Demi Lovato followed me. I can still remember that day. It was one step closer to my dream girl.
The moment I had gotten that follow, I had just finished up a show and went directly to my phone to tweet about the crazy energy there was tonight. I felt in a particularly good mood so I decided to reply to a few of my mentions but none of them were questions. My mentions were filled with girls going "OMG OMG OMG @ddlovato followed @NiallOffcial!!!! Diall is real!!!!!!" My jaw fucking dropped. What? This must be a prank. I automatically went to Demi's page and sure enough I saw that little box that said "follows you". I instantly ran over to Liam and tackled him.
"Whoa mate what was that for"-Liam
"DEMI FUCKING LOVATO FOLLOWS ME ON TWITTER LIAM DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS THIS MEANS SHE ACTUALLY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT ME"-me
"Haha congrats. Now get your sweaty body off me" -Liam
"Oops" I said as I realized I was still holding onto him from the tackle. I stood up, went back to my phone and decided I might as well tweet Demi.
"Hey @ddlovato welcome to my followers list ;)"
Truth be told I was hoping she would reply but I got something even better. A DM. My heart sank when I saw in my inbox @ddlovato DMed me. It was insane but I knew I couldn't just stare at it all day. I had to be a man of action and answer haha.
ddlovato: hey Niall. Thanks for the welcome lol. So I've been hearing you're crushing on me?
NiallOfficial: yesss I have. You seem like a sweet girl. Sorry for causing all those questions about me though, it must get annoying.
ddlovato: I don't mind getting asked about a cute boy;)
NiallOfficial: awe stop it hahaha.
These flirty DMs went on for a few days before I decided to give her my number. From then on we would text everyday.
