Awkward Silence

*do you guys like longer or shorter chapters? Just a question that I have!*
Kageyama POV

That kiss was.... good? I don't know how else to describe it but it was great! But when we pulled away it kind of set in for us what we did and we immediately fell back in our seats. I understand that he initiated the kiss but what if it was a mistake!
Of course it was a mistake! No one could ever want to kiss you!
Oh hello there self doubt how are you!
You know? Could be better but I'm managing! Anyways back to how much he hates ya now!
Oooh great. Now I'm talking to myself in my head and hated by the person I am going to sleepover with. "Where's the bathroom?" I stand up and Hinata doesn't even flinch. "To the left down the hallway area." He points to the door and I quickly run out.

This place looks like it used to be a big house before the owners turned it into the Drive-In. The movie of those two girls is almost over meaning people will be taking bathroom and snack breaks soon. I walk into the bathroom and splash my face in the sink. "Get it together. Come on! This is your gay movie and you have control over what happens!" I sternly point at the mirror and clean myself up. It's like I could still feel him there. "That movie was so cute!" A silver haired guy busts in. He stops and glances at me then at his friend who was slightly taller with brown hair. I'm feeling very judged and I kind of want to leave.

"Hello hi! My name is Sugawara but you can call me Suga! This might sound creepy but I know you! You don't know me but I know you." He smiles and puts out his hand for me to shake. I shake it and look at him questioning a lot of things. "That's Daichi. He's basically just emotional support when I do this." Suga explains and studies me. "He always does this. It's like he has a motherly sense so I guess you are sad or worried about something." Daichi looks to Suga who was now looking carefully at my face. He went to Daichi and whispered something that made Daichi form an O with his mouth. "Hinata showed me a picture of you! Anyways, what's wrong? Better yet, why are you here?" He smiles and sits on the sink while Daichi leaned against the wall. That's when it clicked in my mind, the mom and dad of the group! "Hinata drove home here from his house. We were gonna hang out there." I said looking to the floor. "I'm fine though! Nothing's wrong!" I raise my hands defensively and look at both of them. I could not fool them because they were staring at me with knowing eyes. "Ok fine. We kissed and even though he leaned in for the kiss I feel like he hates me." I spoke in a whisper not being able to raise my voice. Suga comes closer to me and wraps his arms around me. Tears prickled my eyes and I attempted to keep them hidden. "It's ok! I can bet you a billion dollars he is thinking the same thing as you and he really loves you. Hold on, give me and Daichi your number so if you ever need us you can call us." Suga pulled away and grabbed his phone opening the phone app. I quickly scrambled my number out. "Did you run into Tanaka and Noya? I asked them to check on Hinata." Daichi asked now putting my number in his phone. "Uh yeah. They were a lot to handle." I laugh slightly remembering how they acted.
"Ah! The next movie is starting in a bit! You go get your man and try not to be awkward because Hinata will crumble." Suga smiles and pats my back. Daichi laughs and smiles saying goodbye.

Just listen to what they said. When I got back to the office area Hinata was serving the same two guys some snacks. They looked like they were chatting and when they looked at me they rushed a goodbye and went to their car. I sat back in my seat and waited for Hinata. He bounced over seemingly done with all the nerves. "Hey Kags! If you want you can take some snacks! My friend doesn't mind!" Hinata cheerfully said with a pack of candy in hand. He was beaming at me with a slight trace of a blush on his cheeks. I got up and got a few chips and two candy packs. Then I saw the fridge and there was milk! I quickly grabbed that almost dropping the other stuff I had.

The other movie was playing and this one was about the side characters in the other movie. This time the two boys fell in love with each other in weird circumstances and I heard that they do some rebellious teen shit and like run away together. Hinata was munching on his snacks and was intently watching. "H-Hinata?" I mumbled and he looked at me quick. "That's me! What's up?" He smiled at me and I lost all confidence. "Um Uh. You get to watch movies for free. As a job." I stumbled over my words trying to come up with something else to say. His smile seemed to falter slightly but it was back up as quick as it was gone. "Yeah! It's good but sometimes they play bad movies." Hinata turned back to the movie slightly sad looking. I fucked up. I fucked up big time! Maybe Suga could help, he was really comforting when he spoke to me but that's probably me missing my mom. Damn! The silence filled the room almost instantly. The only noise was coming from the night and the movie. The silence was thick and awkward unlike the light understanding silence before.

*Ayyy updates might be slightly slow because I've been getting really sad lately. Then again updates might be fast because I've been getting really sad lately. It just depends what helps me. A lot of different stuff are angering me and making me sad so we'll see!
