Orion woke up from his sleep
He woke up in a place that is dark
He felt like he is in a hole, that is blocked and deep
Orion said, "To see things sure is hard"
So, he wandered even if he could not see anything
Orion walked and run until he was tired running
Yet not even a single ray of light
So he sat down, hugged himself and cried out of frightBut then, as Orion cried, he raised his head up
Although his tears never seem to stop
He saw a girl
A thin-framed, beautiful girl
Orion's eyes were widened from shock
He also suffered a bit of mental blockSuddenly, darkness start to fade
As he remembers the girl who used to be by his side
The girl's name was Jade
Like a gemstone, in a stone she hidesBut who would've thought she's alive?
Is this a dream?
"Jade?" Orion asked
He ran to her but he can't reach her
He kept on running
Orion never cared this time if it was tiring
All he is thinking right now is to reach her
"Let me reach her. Please let me reach her!"
And then Orion stopped
He decided to give upThe light puts away the dark
Not even a trace of darkness, now everything's white as snow
But Orion still sat down and cried, he would not goJade then looks up to Orion
"Why not look up?" She said
Orion did look up
And slowly, his tears stoppedOrion thought Jade was dead
He was ecstatic when he saw her
So Orion stood up and said
"I thought you were just lying there"
"I just wanted our dance" Jade said
"I see" Orion respondedSo they danced like there's no end
In silence.they did not bend
They danced until they can
The pair never cared if they get tired
As long as they did what they long desired
Which was to dance
Notes of every time signature appeared like glitters
Their attires changed in a proper attire possible
As they danced, they became happier
It seemed like they were unstoppableUntil Jade stumbled
Then together they fall
"What happened?" Orion asked
"I was dizzy, we're running out of time" Jade said
Orion then embraced Jade as if she was a pillow
He didn't wany to let Jade go
So they cherishing their moments
Every second, millisecond
They were enjoying their every moment
As if nothing would break their bondBut then in Orion's arms, Jade slowly fades
Realizing the time is near for Jade to go away
Even so, Orion is still happy as in his arms she lay
The beautiful Jade, Orion's Jade"Close your eyes" Jade said
Orion forcefully closed his eyes, so she did
Orion whispered, "Why is it that if we're together, fate forbids?"
Jade responded, " Life will never be fair, right?
Orion agreed and said, "You're right"
Orion never felt Jade, which made him open his eyes
"So this is a dream" he realized
He bid farewell to Jade
It quickly went back to a dark place
A place that looks like a hole, dark and deep
With this, Orion goes back to sleepOrion then wakes up again
Thinking of what the dream must've meant
He goes outside
It was midnight
Orion looked at the stars
Reminding him of a certain someone
Though her days on earth is done
Orion was reminded of Jade as a starJade was Orion's first love
Even if they aren't together
Inside Orion's memory, Jade will stayOrion laughed at the fact that a dream was his chance
For them to have their last dance
He smiled a grateful smile
A smile that will reach many miles----------------------
Poet's note:
Dang it was a long poem to type. But here we go, welcome to the second poem from the "Untitled" series. The story of Orion and Jade's last dance, and as the second-to-the-last stanza suggests, yes, Jade was Orion's first love that died, unfortunately. But I feel like this poem will never be completed without a song (although you may seem tired because it's classical music, but everyone has their preferences and I sometimes use classical music for poems and my current novel which I'm working on).
Here is Liebestraum No. 3 (Love's Dream) by Franz Liszt.

Promotional note:
Okay, so I might look like an idiot here posting too many notes. But I figured I should announce that I will publish my first book or novel anytime soon here in wattpad even if I only have 2 followers. But does it matter? As long as people can read my work after all. And of course, I don't aim popularity, yet (just kidding).
Well, it's my first step as a writer.
I'll still post here in my poem book, anyways. So don't worry.
So, ciao!
Arigatou!
