Its the next day, I actually wanted to walk alone to class but Ella insisted we all go together and I had no choice, so here I am walking to class with Emily and Vera beside me.
"So Bella what are you studying??" Ella aks
"Science" I reply
"Hope you won't blow up the room with chemicals and stuff" Ella says teasingly
"No way but its possible actually" I say smirking
We both laugh and I noticed Vera was quiet. She was looking ahead and clutching her books tightly. Her nails turning white from how she held onto her books. She chewed on some of her fingertips nervously.
"Hey Vera you aren't saying anything" I say
"Sorry I was just thinking about how today will be like" Vera replies
"Don't worry its gonna be fine" Ella says nudging her
"So what are you studying??" I ask
"Commerce" Vera says
"Wow I guess we will be having a lot of cash in the room" I say
"Yeah except Bella's chemicals blow them up" Ella says teasingly
"I will probably be dead" I say nervously
"Ella what are you studying??" Vera asks
"Well I guess we have different areas cause am an art student" Ella says
"I think it really fits you, you are indeed a drama queen" I say smirking
"Yeah!! we better hurry" Ella says
This might not be that bad. At least its making Dad happy
I open the door panting. Finally, I found my class. I was looking for my class for thirty minutes. I open the door to see the whole class staring at me, the teacher glaring at me. I mumble an apology and tuck a strand of hair behind my ear and found a sit.
"Good morning students, my name is Mr. Ben and I am your physics teacher" The teacher says
Then he begins teaching and talking about different laws in physics and their inventors. I knew that because of the topic on the board. I am not the smartest person, I am just average. I don't get first or get top student, but I don't do badly either.
Ooo lord when is this gonna end. Its like everything about this school is boring. Maybe if teachers say less stuff that I don't understand it might be interesting
While am thinking about how bad my school is. I lift my head and see Mr. Ben's hand at my face. I look at him confused, did I blank out or did he notice I wasn't paying attention??
"You?? what's your name" He asks
"Bella" I say looking at him
"So Bella, according to the law of physics............"
Bla Bla Bla. Of course I didn't know the answer. He had just asked me a question I couldn't even guess the answer to. I look at the board praying I see something related to the question. But Heaven decided to not listen to me cause there was nothing connected to it on the board.
"Bella answer the question" He says sternly
Damn!!! First lesson and am about to be horribly embarrassed. I slowly stand up taking my time to stand up, wasting time and I finally stood up straight. He looks at me expectantly but I only smile at him.
"So apparently you don't know the answer" He says adjusting his glasses
"Sir I can answer for her" says a boy I have never met
Thank the heavens
"And why will you do that" Mr. Ben asks
"Cause I know the answer and she doesn't" The boy simply states
"Well since you feel so full of yourself, answer the question" Mr. Ben says
The boy stands up and starts saying stuff I am very sure I didn't listen to. Okay it wasn't intentional, he talked so fast. I couldn't pick up on what he said.
"OK Miss. Bella can you repeat what Andrew said" Mr. Ben says
Damn!!! I never learn
Silence fills the room
"Sir I rather take note than speak, I will say am rather shy" I say
"Hmm but not in my class" Mr. Ben says
"Sorry sir but I can't" I say
"Sit" Mr. Ben says sternly
Am sure he hates me and has written my name in his black book
I found out that my prince who saved me from distress was called Andrew. And then it hit me WHY DID HE HELP ME?? I didn't want to think about it cause am just new and stuff. So I forgot about it and endured the boring lesson till the end, but I decided to thank him after class
So who has had that awkward moment in class?? Cause I have, I really wanted the ground to swallow me.
