I run to the room to start my teasing with Ella. I know this afternoon is gonna be fun and cheerful. I remember the blush on Vera's face and her running away, I chuckle and open the door to see a worried Ella.
"Bella thank goodness you are here" She says
"Why??" I ask
"Vera just ran into the room and is under her bedsheets and doesn't want to talk" She says hurriedly
I burst into laughter and Ella looks at me confused. Vera can be such a baby sometimes, I expected her to do that though. Her bedsheets were always her protectors.
"Why are you laughing??" Ella asks
"Cause am the reason why she's under that blanket" I say smugly
"What did you do??" She asks
"Hey don't look at me like I did something really bad" I say pouting
"Just tell me what happened" She says
"Fine I caught her with her secret boyfriend" I say smirking
Vera who was under the bedsheets shuffles out, gets up and glares at me. Pointing her finger at me accusingly.
"He is not my secret boyfriend" She says
"Mmmmhhhmmm" I say
"What?? How was he??" Ella asks
"He is cute, tall and nice" I say
"OMG!! I can't wait to see him"
"Ella you too seriously" Vera yells looking surprised.
"Of course, do you know how curious I have been about that boy" Ella says
"Haha he's name is Tony" I say laughing at Vera
"Wow" Ella says
"You should have seen how Vera was blushing" I say
"What?? I was not" Vera says lieing of course
"Mmmhhhmm" I say wiggling my eyebrows
"Okay, Ella I also saw Bella with a guy" Vera says smirking
"Vera don't you dare" I say glaring at her
"His name is Jackson and he is super cute and really nice" Vers says mimicking what I said about Tony
"Bella seriously" Ella asked shocked
"He is just a friend, for reals" I say
"Wow" Ella says
"Ella what of your secret boyfriend??" Vera asks
"Yeah you should have one" I say jumping on my bed
"I don't have one" She simply says
"Awwn she's trying to hide it" Vera says pouting
"Yeah but I will found out, I always do" I say pointing at her
"You can search all you want but you aren't finding anyone" Ella says
"Yeah right" I say
"Ok guys enough of the girl talk" Ella says
"Soo what are we talking about now" Vera says
"Our song" Ella says
"Ooo right" I say
"Yeah we haven't practiced for a while" Vera says
"And I kinda have bad or if you should say good news" Ella says
"What??" I ask
"What could be bad and good news??" Vera asks
"The competition is next tomorrow" Ella says
"What!!!!!!!" I shout
"How?Why?When?What?" Vera asks rapidly
"They shifted it, sorry I didn't tell you earlier" Ella says
"Ok now we have to rehearse" Vera says
"Yeah like right now" I say
"I was able to get us to practice at the studio" Ella says
"Cool" I say
"Let's go" Vera says
We walk into an art studio, with a lot of instruments and looked really cool. It was colourful, bright and beautiful. The lights shining at every corner.
"Wow this is amazing" I say
"Yeah it looks so beautiful" Vera says
"OK OK let's get back to rehearsing" Ella says
"Hey allow us to look at the beauty" Vera says
"OK my friend is here to help us" Ella says
"Hmmm a friend huh" I say wiggling my eyebrows
"Bella!!!!!" Ella yells
"OK Ok I will stop talking" I say while giggling
While we are talking, a boy walks into the room. With a guitar and was walking like a model or something. He wore a blue shirt and a black trouser, his brown hair was long and scattered around his face. It brought out his green eyes, the guitar hanging on his body, his hands tucked into his pocket.
"Hey Ella" He says waving
"Hey Mark" Ella replies smiling
"So this must be your friends" Mark says
"Yeah, Bella and Vera" She says turning towards us
"Hey my name's Mark" He says
"Hey nice to meet you, am Bella" I say gripping his hand in a handshake
"And am Vera" Vera says smiling
"Okay ladies let's get to your rehearsal" He says
"OK" We all say
I pick a microphone while Mark gets his guitar. I breath in and calm down my nerves.
"One, two, three..."
And we begin to sing, Vera started and I was next. As I sang, I really couldn't believe that was my voice. I never really saw myself as a singer or someone to stand on a stage.
We sounded nice and I couldn't help but notice how Mark was looking at Ella. But I didn't wanna say something, so it won't look like am the most perverted one.
"Wow you guys are amazing" Mark says
"Thanks" Vera says
"I hope it will get us to win" Ella says
"You guys shouldn't worry, you are gonna win for sure" He says
"Let's hope so" I say fidgeting
"Guys we have to pick a name" Vera says excitedly
"That's true. What of Rockstars or The Space Warrior Singers" I say jumping and they look at me with an are you okay expression
"I think we should mix our names" Ella says glaring at me before I continue my rant
"Yeah am thinking The Vellas" Vera says
"Hmmm not bad" I say smirking
"Yeah so we are The Vellas" Ella says
"Can't wait" Vera says
"Oh it's gonna be awesome" I say
Their final rehearsal, that means the day is coming. Can't wait.
