MY COLLEGE FRIEND!

Chapter-14:Another Semester

It was the end of first sem examinations that went normal, not too good or too bad. Students were unaware of marking scheme of their university so they couldn't predict their results and better decided to enjoy the semester break, going to their home sweet home, meeting their family and friends. After all the enjoyment of just ten days, it was announced that college will be reopened on 4th of January, this was really disappointing for them as students were habituated of at least 15-20 days vacations in their schools after exams. Swati and Naina too were back to their college city. Swati went to meet her parents for few days whereas Naina went to her uncle's house where she met her parents too as it was a small get together for all of them.

New semester started, the first day went in introduction with a very low attendance that faculties had to combine the two classes into one, still many spaces left vacant. The subjects were changed also the teachers, except of that one subject Mathematics-2, ahh! Whatever the number is after the subject's name, Maths will be Maths so as the teacher. Maths faculty remained unchanged which again irritated Swati allot. He was the only teacher who started teaching since first day, as he didn't need any introduction, students knew him and he knew students, so why to waste time. He always rushed to complete the course, without wasting any of his time, he recahed to take classes before time and left five minutes after the class was already over!

Other facilities introduced syllabus to students, instructed some of the tips how to write answers and also decided how they would complete it despite of the fact that no planning works in colleges. Your syllabus is fully covered is next to impossible in a college scenario, teachers took classes as their wish and teached the things they wished. Students have already understood it in just one semester.

Regular classes were started still with a really low attendance. The teacher of "Engineering Physics" everyday asked students to tell their friends to attend classes along with which he gave a pretty long speech regarding the same...that how it will harm your practical marks etc etc. Naina, on the other hand whispered in Swati's ears. "Tell me one thing! Why the hell are 'we' listening these things...he should scold them not us we are attending classes regularly. The one who is responsible for it are enjoying in their home and we are listening their part of scolding..great!" This showed how annoyed she was after listening same things everyday.

One fine day, when there was no one to take classes.Preeti, Swati and Naina decided to make tik toks together. That was the time when all three of them had nothing to do but making tik tok videos. They made it at home and then showed to each other in college. They went to another class which was empty, peeped outside the window for sometime and then started making tik toks.Preeti said she doesn't make good ones, so its better Naina and Swati do it she would take the video. Naina and Swati looked for a good comedy audio and started acting on it. But instead of a good video, they always laughed in between beacuse that theme contained slapping Naina several times. Finally, after numerous retakes they were successful in making it. They made some more and enjoyed a lot.

Second semester was so much fun. The teachers they got were really good and entertaining too. They enjoyed studying as well as did lots of mischieves. The bond got more strong among everybody and they altogether spent a quality time. Labs were the place where they enjoyed to the peak. Whether it would be a mechanical lab.. where they met with various machines in mechanical block, the carbonator, engines etc, provided a lots of knowledge, they enjoyed when sometimes they got a chance to operate those machines. Also, the civil and mechanics lab where they had to prove triangle law and parallelogram laws. On the other hand, there was phycics lab, although they all had visited physics labs earlier in their school time but this time there were a little bit different practicals to perform. For example- it was the practical to see the changes in fringe width of light, which took place in a dark room and observations were taken as per the readings on the device. Except of that computer lab which they were visiting since their childhood and now they had to continue with it, till their life afterall they were 'computer science' students.

All their life got a bit stable. They knew how to study and how much to study to get good marks. Results were still about to come but no one bothered about it. They all were busy in their better life they got in second semester.
