OverWATCH YOURSELF CHILD

It was like any other day, the birds were chirping, the sun was shining and taekook were both sitting in the worlds strangest positions while fighting each other and playing overwatch - just another day in the bangtan household.

And like any other day the rest of the group went about there own business but for once there was a third addition to the mess which was the couch.

Sat in between the two youngest was Jin, Kim Seokjin, world wide handsome, king of English and the colour pink - trying to mind his own business and play stardew valley on his switch while the two youngest went at each other while playing the game.

Now you might wonder how Jin got himself into this predicament and it's quite a story.

'Flash back in that voice from spongebob from that one episode'

"Jin hyung never does anything with us anymore!"

"Yeah all he does is work work work and when he's not he's napping or sat in his room on his switch, like come on it's a portable device switch it up a little! Your dongsaeng's need attention! Jimin isn't the only one of us who needs it ya know!"

Jin was flabbergasted considering it came out of no where and he'd literally just helped Yoongi cook everyone's tea, but instead of rising to the yelling he took a second to think about it.

Admittedly he wasn't spending as much time with them as he had when they were younger but that was because they were more independent now and he didn't have to guide them through everything.

He didn't have to run them to school anymore, help them with work, listen to them vent frustration they didn't understand at the time but did now, he didn't have to do any of that because they were all grown up now.

After raising them on his back he finally took a step back to watch them grow on their own from the sidelines and play on his switch-

Maybe he understood where that dig came from... but he still loved them just the same... and it wasn't like he was purposefully never leaving his room, it was just convenient that his bed, switch and mini fridge were all within reaching distance.

"Alright..." maybe they did have a point but he wasn't going to admit that, "next time we have some free time I'll come sit with you but you have to understand hyung doesn't need to be there for you constantly any more, your grown up but that doesn't mean I don't love you all the same."

('Ew that's gay' 'shut it Alexa' 'are we all gonna pretend like Alexa didn't just say that on its own-' 'Jungkook set it up to say that whenever anyone says love-' 'ew that's gay' 'ALEXA TURN OFF')

Coughing twice and sitting back down jin continued "Now I'll sit with you, but on one condition."

Taehyung and Jungkook both raised an eyebrow and then Jin said three simple words.

"We play Mario."

'End of flashback. I lied it wasn't quiet a story Twas just a story unu'

And that's why he was there now, sitting between his two dongsaengs, very quickly losing his patients.

And then he got kicked in the face with a foot with weird ass toe socks which could only belong to one person.

"JEON JUNGKOOK KICK ME ONE MORE TIME AND I'LL UR SOCKS WILL BECOME TOELESS!"

"YEAH JUNGKOOK SOCK IT-" and Jin had never been prouder of Taehyung (he has but that's besides the point.)

"YOU DIDNT TELL ME TO SOCK IT LAST NIGHT!" And then his pride turned to confusion at Jungkook's retort.

The two youngest where just staring at each other breathing heavy and so spoke up and said "Wait what-" quickly being explained to by Jungkook "I had cold toes but Taehyungie was too comfy cuddling and wouldn't let me get up to get socks."

"Ahhhh."

And then Taehyung just had to go and say it.

"Get your mind out of the gutter hyung."

And as quickly as that everything re-spiraled into chaos "Taehyung's no longer my favourite-"

"WAIT!"

"YES!"

"NO!"

"TOE! Sorry I was waking through and heard a threat about socks and that only felt appropriate, I'm gonna go cling on to Namjoon hyung until he lets me steal one of his shirts now sooooo bye have fun with your foot fetishes~" and with that Jimin left, leaving behind three a gasp mouths.

"Did he just-"

"He did-"

Letting out a sigh Jin flopped back into the couch, pout talking as he whined "I'm just here to play Mario... Taehyung get your soul mate under control."

And the scandalised look Taehyung gave him almost made him crack a smile, almost...

But then Taehyung opened his mouth and he couldn't help the beaming smile he gave him because he definitely influenced this kids attitude, "Maybe he'd be under control if his soulmate wasn't disowned by his paternal figure for the bigger half of the last decade."

And Jin, beautiful handsome Kim Seokjin, said in all his wisdom "Maybe he would, Maybe he wouldn't. There's only one way to settle this."

"OVER WATCH!"

"OverWATCH YOURSELF CHILDREN, MARIO KARTS IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER YOU DWEEBS!"

And so they bickered and fought and then settled in and played, bantered and everything else a group of close friends- family did.

And all Jin could think that night when he settled into bed was "Jeez I missed this...

"STOP TALKING TO YOUSELF JIN HYUNG!"

"GET TO SLEEP YOONGI! And jimin..."

"I HEARD THAT YOU-"

"GOODNIGHT JIN HYUNGGGG LOVE YOUUU SEE YOU TOMORROW FOR MORNING CUDDLES WITH TAETAE!"

"Aish these kids..."
