Ruby walked up to Heather Brooks's locker and opened it. She wanted to look at the pictures inside. When she opened it up, not only did she see the photos, it she noticed the scrunch tie was gone. Ruby saw her uncle looking at her with a worried face from down the hall as he let students in to a class room. She gently shut it and walked to her next class. After she sat down, she felt someone tap on her shoulder and saw Heather Blue wearing it. Ruby slowly stood up and touched it, "Heath-." Ruby's reaction dawned and she scoffed. She back down slowly.

"Ruby, are you okay," Heather asked.

"Just having a moment," Ruby replied. Heather decided to leave Ruby alone. Ruby felt depressed as the day went on.

After school Heather White asked Ruby if she wanted to come sleep over. Ruby agreed and they spent time together. Ruby felt like she was a better person with just her and Heather White because of how chill she was. They sat on her bed, ate snacks and listened to the radio.

Heather then asked, "I think we should invite Blake over for Crochet tomorrow. I've always admired her taste in books!"

"When do you read," Ruby replied.

"When no one is around!"

"I live in a dorm with her!"

"Really? What's her collection like?"

"It's big!"

"Wow!"

"So where's Heather?"

"Probably partying now that Heather is gone. She does it most of the week. Will you ask Blake tomorrow?"

"Yeah!"

Sometime later, the girls went to bed. They woke up in the morning and went back to the school. Ruby met Blake in the hallway and Blake agreed after she heard how Heather White adored books!

When she got there, Heather Blue and Heather White has already gotten out the crochet set. Ruby helped set them up. They played a bit until later Blake said, "I can't believe I'm winning!"

"Don't start getting cocky on me now girl," Ruby joked. She hasn't felt this calm in a long time.

As Heather White went up to hit Blake stood next to Ruby, "I really missed you. I know I'm not exciting as your other friends."

"That is not true," Ruby reassured Blake.

"I'm sorry if we made you feel that leading a team was too much."

"Why do you say that?"

"Ever since you became friends with the Heathers, you've been off a bit. More then lately."

"I'm sorry about that. I guess hormones are kicking in seeing how I'm younger then you," Ruby shot her ball and it hit off of the bar. Blake went again, but she didn't make it this time. Ruby spoke again, "Somedays I feel like your daydreams of the stories you read are much better then our reality, but I guess that's just life."

"Yeah! I guess so!"

Heather White made her shot and it almost hit Ruby as she jumped, "Sorry about that Ruby."

Heather Blue joked, "Bravo Heather! Bravo!"

Blake got a text from Yang and she texted back. She put it away, "I gotta go. It's almost time for Weiss's Birthday party and I have to help set up. You don't mind if I leave Zwei with you?"

"Not at all! I was thinking on walking him later," Ruby replied. She looked at Zwei who was laying down on the porch. Blake hugged Ruby and left. After she left, Ruby sat down next him and pet him, "I think I'll sit this one out."
