After School in the laboratory, Randy and Heather Blue burned most of what was in Heather Brooks's locker.

"I want you to remember this," Randy said, "Heather did polls, so you're now gonna do polls,"

Heather Blue smiled, "How about we do one on teenage suicide? Don't do it!"

"Right." He handed Heather a piece of paper, "to play it at prom, we need everyone's hand signatures to make it happen."

"On it! And oh! Little gift for you," She handed him a copy of Mobby Dick, "I won't be needing that anymore."

He looked surprised as she walked out of the room and into the hall. She sat at the window for a while. She then went home.

When she came back the next day, she had everyone sign it. When she walked up to Ruby, things were different as she handed it to her.

"Do you really think I'd sign something as misleading as this," Ruby asked.

"You're just jealous because people love me."

"People May love you, but I know you. You keep lying about what this petition really is."

"Just sign it okay."

"Don't talk to me like that, okay?"

"It was Randy's idea. He made out the sheet so just sign it."

"No. If it's from him, I can't trust anything from his end. I don't get why you can't be just a friend."

"Because I can be! That's how leaders work!"

"No it's not."

Heather came close to Ruby, "Like you'd even know."

Ruby watched Heather walk past her. As soon as she was gone, Ruby looked out the window. She felt someone hug her from behind, "Ready for tonight? Catch a movie or play some golf?"

Ruby looked at Randy, "Planning another murder? Leave me out."

"You don't wanna join me?"

"Let go of me please."

"I can't touch my girl," Randy tried to stroke Ruby's hair, but she aggressively freed herself, elbowing him in the side.

"Its over Randy. Grow up."

"You were wrong, I was right? Admit it!"

"Go to hell," Ruby shook her head and she left him. He called her but she refused and kept walking. She went to Professor Ozpin's office for her training. After, she went back to the dorm room and walked in to find Yang and her Uncle sitting on her bed, waiting for her.

She stopped in where she was. Her sister spoke, "You're friend, Randy, stopped by and said we should talk with you about your mental health."

"Especially since your sister and I have been talking about it since she saw your changes get out of hand," Qrow said.

Ruby sighed and looked away, noticing a note peaking out from under her pillow on her bed. She looked away and back at her Uncle to cover up her lie. She put on a working face, "Is it really that bad?"

"If you need help controlling yourself, we'll help you," Yang replied.

"Let me remind you of something," Qrow said, "When I was really young, me and your aunt didn't have any parents. Growing up was hard when our tribe had to try and take care of us. It was extremely harder when I was your age because I was raised in a hard setting. After I met your mother, she made me and your aunt realize that the hardest parts of life are not just worth solving, but are also going to be a part of life. If we don't solve the problems that matter, how can we get by in life? Suicide doesn't solve anything. It makes things worse."

"We have it a bit easier than both of our mothers," Yang replied, "Mostly because we have a father and an uncle who care."

Ruby put her head down, "I know... Talking about things is just hard."

"And you can talk about it with us when you're ready. Just not before things are too late."

Ruby nodded. Yang's scroll rang and she shut off the alarm. Qrow got up, "Alright, kiddos. I gotta get down to the office so Yang isn't late for her tutor."

Yang got up too and they both headed out the door. After they were gone, Ruby dashed to her bunk and opened the letter. It read Recognize the handwriting? It was in her own. How did Randy learn to forward her handwriting? Ruby laid on her back and looked around the room. She got up and jumped down from her bunk at go to her closet. She opened it up and there was one of her stuffed animals, hung by the next with a rope. She slowly walked around it with the face of terror. She went back into the dorm and checked it. No one was there. She went back into her closet and took it down. She then curled up into a ball in her corner of pillows and went to sleep.
