Chapter 9-Before

Kai's POV

'I know who you are, Graser10CPMCYTPOP.' He stared at me in silence. After a few seconds, he said,

'I have to go.' He looked down at the keyboard, but I couldn't miss the tears forming in his eyes. He blinked rapidly and ended the call. And then my world began to crumble.

Graser's POV

No. NO. It couldn't be possible. How did-?

'Why didn't she tell me before?' I muttered. 'Before you loved her' My brain told me. I turned on my phone and went onto Twitter.

'@Graser10: You guys love me more than Parker, right? @Parker_GamesMC' I watched the replies roll in. One caught my eye,

'@KailinMC: @Graser10 Why did you lie to me? ;-; '

It was clever. Very. This way nobody would know what happened. I followed her so I could DM her, but immediately realised that they would see. Oh well. I needed to talk to her. I clicked Direct Messaging and sent her a message.

Please forgive me, I'm
so sorry. Can I call?

I sighed and waited. Why had I been so stupid??? My phone dinged and my eyes widened. I picked it up.
Alright then.

Her response was strange but I was so happy that she answered that I called her right away. After the third ring, she picked up.

'Are you happy now?' she said. She kinda sounded like she had been crying.

'No, I'm not happy, I have so much guilt inside me and I'm so so so so SO sorry. I never should have judged you, I just assumed you were a typical fangirl and-'

' I am a typical fangirl, but things have changed from before... Look, I need to see you in person. The joint in an hour. Ok?' I was confused, but I told her yes anyway. I needed to take the chance to make this right before it was futile.

Kai's POV

I stood in front of the mirror like before , dressed in a black and red floral dress, black jacket, black tights, and a red flower in my tamed black curls. I knew that this could go two ways. Either he feels the same, and it's the best day of my life, or he doesn't and he hates me... In other words, it's all our nothing. I braced myself and walked down the stairs and through the door into the warmth and light, fighting the fear I had before with the hope of love.
