Hey peeps! So it's been a year since I've updated. Oops. I've been too busy, sorry to those who waited like crazy. Anyway, I've just recently completed my major exams, so I'm free to write and think about the plot. I'll try to update more often too.
For readers of 'It began with a dare', I'm not sure if I want to continue with the story or not, so.. it's currently on hold.
This chapter is also unedited. Hence, it contains grammar errors and such, hope you guys won't mind! Kindly point it out to me would do.
Without further ado, here's chapter three! Enjoy.
Jayden didn't come home all night.
Not a phone call or text at all. Nothing at all. Just like how Viviania is feeling 'nothing' inside of her. It's empty. She is dazed. The first time Jayden went missing in action for such an important event. It was heart breaking for Viviania. She glanced at her handiwork, those dishes she prepared, the CDs she rented, the way she dressed up for the occasion in a sexy wine red maxi dress that displayed ample amount of cleavage.
She sighed. Her lips quiver. Her worst nightmare came true. She had always thought that Jayden was the perfect hubby, the man who always makes her happy, makes her laugh, makes her life complete. But he had missed the important date yesterday. Viviania felt tears stung her eyes. She tried not to cry, but a big fat salty tear rolled down her cheeks and unto her lap.
She tried to be understanding towards Jayden, thinking of possibilities. Maybe he got held up at work? Maybe he was too tired so he slept in his office instead? There was so many reasons that ride up to her mind, but she couldn't disciple if they were reasonable or important enough for him to miss their eighth wedding anniversary.
Viviania was suddenly angry at Jayden. She swiped at her tears and glared at the clock. It was half past seven in the morning. She had fallen asleep while waiting for him.
He better have a good reason for missing their big day, she thought.
***
Jayden had had the night of his life.
No, he couldn't deny it. Pearlyn was absolutely amazing in bed. She was so tactile, so breathtakingly beautiful. Jayden was turned on so badly by her. He was charmed, charmed by her witty ways and her sexiness. He couldn't control himself, it was way too much for him. He didn't remember how good was the last time Viviania made him feel this good. Speaking of Viviania... His heart strings tugged. Suddenly, he felt remorse and guilt pooling at the back of his heart. How could he so easily bed another woman when he is married for eight years already? This is so wrong, yet it feels so right. Jayden wonders if their love was even strong enough in the first place. Maybe they got married too early in the first place.
Jayden knew what was right and what was wrong, even when this feels absolutely right. He was going to wear his clothes and leave. Without looking back. This will just be a tiny mistake he'll erase off from his life. For heaven's sake, he even had a daughter with Viviania!
Jayden peeled the blanket off his body and sat upright on the bed. He was about to get off from the bed when a cool, tiny hand wrap itself around his arm.
'Don't go yet,' the voice whispered. Jayden twisted his back and looked at the beautiful goddess he had cheated with a few hours ago on his wife. He smiled at her and she smiled back.
Oh gosh... those luscious lips. Those big doe eyes. Those high cheekbones. Jayden felt himself going crazy. He wanted to stay with her so bad but the angel was calling him to return to Viviania.
He tried not to stare down at her poorly concealed naked body. He was afraid of himself, that the beast inside of him would come out.
His hand gently removed hers from his arm. 'Hey, morning. Sorry, I've to go.' He got up, wrapping the sheet around his private area and picked up his clothes that was being thrown on the floor.
He was putting his clothes on when he heard her ask a question that caught him off guard. 'Are you attached?'
He was shocked to hear the question. He debated lying to make her feel better but decided against him. He's married, and that's a fact.
'Yes i am.'
There was silence for a moment. Jayden wonders if she's upset, or worse, going to cry and give him a bitch slap for all that he've done.
'Oh okay. That's cool.' She replied.
Jayden did not expect her to be that calm. He expected something wilder. But that made him like her even more. She is so understanding. Viviania wasn't really like that. She was more towards the temperamental side.
'Thank you,' he responded.
'For what?'
Jayden chuckled. 'For... not throwing a hissy fit.'
She giggled. 'I'm not that petty. After all, you did gave me a wonderfully glorious night.'
Jayden smirked at her in response. After all, she too, gave him a wonderfully glorious night.
He got to the door fully clothed when he felt her grab his arm again.
'When will I see you again? I mean... as friends. Simple friends. Can we be friends?' Pearlyn asked in a way so innocent Jayden was literally melting inside. She was covered in a small towel that left her long legs exposed. Jayden ran his eyes once through.
'Sure,' he grabbed a pen from inside of his trousers pocket, grabbed her wrist and wrote his number on her hand. 'Call me.'
'Goodbye, Jayden.' Pearlyn gave him a wide smile.
'Bye Pearlyn. Hey, wait.' He spun her around and gave her a kiss on the lips. She quickly melted into the kiss and responsed. He pried her mouth open with his tongue, and gave her a full on French kiss. She pulled away after what seems like minutes.
'Sorry, couldn't resist.' Jayden winked at her.
'You're forgiven for that. Go now, love.' With that, the door shut.
Jayden walked to the lift, pulled out his mobile phone and called his chauffeur to come pick him up. When he ended the call, he realised that there were 47 missed calls, and 28 texts. Mostly from Viviania. He is doomed. Just as he was about to put his phone away, his phone beeped. The caller id read Viviania.
This wasn't good.
He picked up the line, only to be greeted by an extremely irritated, frustrated and downright angry voice.
'Where have you been, sir?'
