Cooped up in this ridiculous hotel was not my opinion of fun, and I wasn't going to just sit around and do nothing. I know I was forbidden of leaving since that insane guy wants me for some dumb reason, oh that's right since I found that guy that is now dead? well i don't actually know if he is or not, my mother could just be trying to scare me. It wasn't like her though. Anyways I stood up and grabbed some of the clothes I threw off the bed, looking through the pile I found a purple tank top and black skinny jeans and I slipped them on. A blue plaid button up top covered my arms and thin stomach.

My long hair was soon in a messy ponytail again with a green head band and some rainbow clips. Purple vans matched my tank-top so I decided that would be good enough for me, and I grabbed a black coat with a white zipper and headed out of the hotel room. The elevator wasn't my favorite so I took the stairs, there were about three different stairs two leading down and one up, since knowing how I am so curious I followed the stairs that said 'basement', when  I was supposed to head to the 'lobby'!

The stairs looked extremely old after I got two thirds of the way down, and they creaked and sharp sounds followed. There were faded noises like thuds and bangs almost like a machine was breaking down. Of course when I reached the basement there were a few machines none of which were broken. It wasn't just thuds and bangs now it sounded like glass breaking and faded voices? At this point I really wished I could talk maybe say "Hello, Anyone there?" Or something like that.

I stepped down on the pavement and  even through my shoe cold filled my feet, my mouth dropped open when I saw people.

"Since that girl is staying here Autumn I believe everyone is in danger. Why would you let her pick this five star hotel?" A man was speaking, about me!?

"Cory shut up, she needs protection and we are better off giving that to her unlike the crappy Motel's, Hush up you know these walls are paper thin. We have great security no one is going to sneak in no one but her mother is aloud in that room anyways and she wont be leaving it how is everyone going to be in danger?" The woman spoke much more than the boy and seemed to care me about me. her voice was smooth and velvety when his was loud and airy.

He rolled his eyes quickly before speaking, "May you really are dumb aren't you? If they have a gun guess what they could keep us hostage especially if there is more than one, She is supposed to stay here fore a while as well which will give him time to check every Hotel in town. Criminals like him are not stupid! He found her the next day the cops found that body."

I wondered why John and Ms Margret told them so much but it didn't matter the girl May started babbling again, I was glad she was out to protect me though! " I am the smart one I am trying to get this girl help she is young and doesn't need to die plus she cannot speak, They are paying triple the amount for the room they are in and you need to calm down!" Her velvet voice got louder as she turned her back to him, our eyes met and she stared with her draw dropped. "Autumn," she said running towards me and grabbing my hand.

"Hope she heard all that and she isn't wanted here!" The man yelled and I pulled away from the girl.

If this was all that serious what was the point in trying to hide or be safe, if everyone is in danger there is no use, right? One person is better than hundreds. Before I left I heard the woman, May's voice again, "You moron she is going to run away now!" It got closer at the end which meant she was coming after me.

My pace sped up and I carried myself up the stairs, i was going so fast it was like I was flying. A bird in the air going higher and higher with the air hitting its face, except I wasn't a bird of course. About half the way up the stairs I could hear her feet hitting against the stairs and I ran faster. Finally I reached where I had been before and I took the stairs to the lobby.

With my luck it wasn't as far as the basement and I ran out the door. The fresh air hit my face and attacked my coat bringing the cold air into the fabric and the rain dripped on my head. Oh great its raining. Rain wouldn't stop me though, they don't want me there and I don't want to be there. It is a win win situation, so I walked.

I have probably been walking for about an hour and I was soaked to the bone. I felt my coat probably dripping from the soaked sleeves, the sun started to seep through the clouds and instead of the heavy poor that made it sound like someone was following you everywhere you went it was a light drizzle, and i could hardly feel it. I put my hood down and right as I did so I felt someone grab my arm! Who was it My heart was beating hard as my head turned and....
