(December . 1985)
Vince sat in a booth at the Bourbon Room with Rebel, Mick, Tommy and Heather . The singer watched as Beth walked around taking orders. He had been trying since he got home to get in contact with his family, but he still had no luck It had been eight months since he discovered Tammi had took off with Neil and Elizabeth. Vince downed the rest of his drink and stood up. "You okay Vince?" Rebel asked looking up at him with worried eyes. "Um-Yea. I-I have to go do something."
Vince took a breath and walked over to the bar that Beth was standing next to. After he stood there and she didn't seem to notice him, do to her giving drink orders, the singer cleared his throat. "Vince, do you need a refill?" She asked with an off smile, she was still jumpy around the man. He smirked looking down. "N-No just the bill." She smiled and went behind the bar. "And to ask you something- Are you working tonight?" Beth gulped looking down. "N-no." Vince smiled looking around the bar. "Okay-So, would you want to go out Beth?" She dropped the check and went red. "With you? Like you and me on-on a date-Together-Us?" She asked frantic, bending down to pick up what she'd dropped. "Yea. If you want." She smiled, messing with her hair after she stood back up. "YES. I mean yes." Vince smiled himself, she was different, and maybe different was what he needed.
Rebel watched as Vince left the building not long after his talk with the waitress. "He finally asked her?" Tommy asked with a smirk. "Seems like it." Rebel mumbled. She watched as Beth excited told Sherrie about her date with Vince. Rebel couldn't hear what was said, but she had a feeling the young girl was talking about the blond bomb. "But I thought he was still hung up on finding his wife?" Heather asked sitting next to Tommy. "Maybe he finally sees that as bad as he wants her to come back, she's not- She made it clear, after all she left divorce papers." Mick said speaking up for the first time in awhile.
Nikki sat in his living room floor with his daughter, he was beyond happy to be a father, even if things didn't seem right, he played it all off, wanting to keep the illusion of a happy family, something he never had. He wanted his daughter to grow up with both her parents and anything she wanted or needed. He wanted to give his daughter Joanna, what he never had.
Vanity walked into the living room and groaned, flopping down on the couch. "What?" She asked after Nikki glanced up at her. "What's wrong with you?" Nikki asked, picking Joanna up and moving to the couch. "I want to do something, since your here to keep an eye on her, can I go out?" Nikki sighed, taking his girlfriends hand. "But I've hardly seen you." She rolled her eyes and stood up. "And who's fault is that Sixx?"
"It's my job." Vanity sighed crossing her arms. "Okay, yes it's your job. But why can't we travel around with you?" Nikki put Joanna in her playpen and took Vanity by the hips. "How about this- After we make our next album, we'll have to tour-By then Joanna will be bigger and we could all travel around-But when we pick up the tour after the holidays, I just don't like the thought of her traveling around-She's still small." Vanity rolled her eyes. "Nikki." He smirked pulling her closer. "Why don't you go out like you wanted? After you get back I'll have a surprise for you okay?" He asked with a smirk on his lips. "Will I like this surprise?" Nikki chuckled. "I hope so." She smiled, giving him a kiss, before she ran to get ready.
Rodney knocked on Nikki's door, he couldn't believe when his brother called him, asking him to pick something up. Rodney had moved out of his brothers place in November, but he still made a point to visited his niece any chance he could. When Nikki opened the door his eyes were off. "Did you get it?" Nikki asked stepping aside so his younger brother would walk into the house. "Yep." Rodney said with a sigh, holding the bag up. "I'm not even sure that I got the right thing man. You should have went." Nikki shook his head moving to sit on the couch.
