"i've changed my mind about the donuts" was chan's well-planned, well-thought out greeting to minho. "it's nearly five on a friday evening; it's happy hour."

minho balked, taking his crown off as he released his hair from the shower cap. "i'm a bartender, chan. happy hour, to me, isn't exactly happy."

"yeah? well, you're taking the night off. tell your boss you're sorry, m'lady."

"okay, this needs to stop. i can't handle being 'lady liberty' or 'm'lady' any longer," minho said. "i'm lee minho. thirty-one years old."

"ah, nice to meet you, minho. i'm thirty-two." chan and minho shook hands for the second time that week, both smiling. "can i still call you 'm'lady'?"

"i don't know; can you?" minho sassed.

chan snickered, smirking. "can i? or shall i? i think i shall," he concluded. "m'lady."

minho sighed, knowing that arguing wasn't worth it. "at the very least, let me wash up before we go out in public."

"we already are out in public."

"shut up."

chan grinned cheekily, doing as minho ordered.

"i'll meet you back here in half an hour, okay?"

chan checked his watch again. half an hour would mean missing the first third of happy hour, but he could deal with that. "see you soon, m'lady."
