Gladion's Lycanrock slumped to the ground unable to battle anymore. "Lycanrock is unable to battle, Lycanrock wins, making Ash Ketchum the winner and Alola champion!"

Slowly but surely, dimples spread across Ash's face. Cheers filled the stadium, while Gladion and Ash shook hands, knowing they'd meet again.

"Thanks" was all Gladion could utter as Ash went forward to claim his prize. However, Gladion still had one thing to consult Ash about: Lillie.

After the Ceremony...

Ash strolled down the quiet path through the park, most of his thoughts leaving his mind. Out of nowhere, Gladion appeared.
"Hi Gladion!"said Ash, a bit shocked at this point.
"Oh, hey," breathed Gladion
"Something wrong?" Asked Ash
"Been trying to *breath* catch *breath* up to you"
"I suppose I do go of on my own a bit too much sometimes... So, what's going on?"
"I've been suspecting this for a long time and that match CONF-"
"What, exactly?" cut in Ash
"Look, I noticed that, in the match, you were never looking at me, you were looking at my sis!"
"So you figured it out, finally"
I was, infact watching her all match, and she, the same back..."
"What's going on between you two, gettin' a bit steamy in here" taunted Gladion, getting a bit cocky as he thought he had it
"I've managed to keep it hidden for 2 years now, I think it's time I let it out" said Ash
"Yes, yes, yes?" Replied Gladion, getting too excited for his own good

"Lillie and I have been 'together' for 2 Years behind your back"

At that exact moment Lillie Joined them, making Gladion's jaw drop and Ash sweatdrop.

"WHY" Mouthed Gladion

"Aren't I a free woman?" replied Lillie, pouting as she did so in her own cute way.
Gladion chose to withdraw from the conversation at that point, realising that that he'd won the argument but lost the battle.

"We'll meet again, Ash Ketchum" Gladion said under his breath as he walked away

"Wait, brother, where are you going?"
"To Kanto, Sis, have fun with Ash"
"Why?"
"My duty was to Protect you and now that is fuffilled so I shall concentrate more on self improvement"
At that exact moment both of the Aether Siblings ran up to each other and had a hug that lasted about 5 minutes, it seemed to Ash.

Gladion then turned on his foot and marched off into the clear afternoon.
With all done and dusted, Ash gave his gf a quick peck on the lips and they, too disappeared off into the haze.

Off to new adventures in both love and Pokemon!
